Surrey Resort

Absolutely obsessed with this resort and glamping experience. The tent was so comfortable and spacious you almost forget that you’re in a tent surrounded by trees. It was the perfect combination of reclusive & communal. The location is conveniently close to the town for groceries, food spots, and other activities. The views and aesthetic was to die for. I can’t wait to come back!

SurreyResort provides an amazing experience for all. The service is very thoughtful, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with. Every question or request I had for the staff was addressed with urgency and brevity. The facilities were orderly and accessible and the ambiance was very serene while also being very walkable to the town.

Such an incredibly special stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful with flowers and greenery EVERYWHERE. It felt so cozy and relaxing from the second we arrived. You wouldn’t know you’re still technically in town because it feels like you’re tucked away!! Every tent was super spacey (we stayed in the Fab+) and there’s a heated blanket which made the nights sooo comfortable. The bed was also super comfy! Each tent also has its own little private outside setup with chairs & table on the porch plus lounge chairs and a personal fireplace right outside. Like literally every single tent had its own private fireplace right outside. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and even offered extra towels and blankets whenever needed which we really appreciated. The pool and hot tub area were also extremely clean and well kept the entire time. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by was the bathroom situation. Since they’re shared bathrooms I expected something more public or hostel style but each one is actually completely private with its own shower and bathroom which made the experience feel way more comfortable. And the location honestly could not be better. You’re literally just a 3-4 blocks from downtown Guerneville so you can walk to all the restaurants, bars, thrift shops and little art galleries so easily. We will be back at Surrey Resort every time we’re in Guerneville!!

Visited during the off season which included a great discount but very cold at night. Tents are really close to each other, so I imagine the noise level during peak season is crazy (seriously bring earplugs). The futon is not very comfortable as it leaned to one side. We bunched up a blanket in the middle because of the dip and put a pillow on half of it so my sister wouldn't roll off in her sleep. I recommend bringing extra cushion for whoever uses the futon. Besides that we had a great experience and we will be coming back!

His sessions add a whole new layer to the stay—grounding, insightful, and deeply calming. Whether you’re new to meditation or already on that path, Alex has a way of elevating the entire experience into something memorable and meaningful. Surrey Resort has quietly become one of my favorite places in town. I mostly go for the gym and the pool, and both are consistently clean, well-maintained, and relaxing — exactly what you want when you’re trying to take care of yourself.

Very nice location and people that work here

My sister and a friend joined us getting a Day Pass and enjoyed how peaceful it was on property. We brought in our lunch and beverages which was ok with them and I enjoyed touring the property and seein the tents. There was free parking and the location is right downtown so that was great. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The staff were very friendly. Hopefully they got the jets in the spa working. (We did not stay in the rooms but would like to do that sometime.)

Had a great time at Surrey with my family. Lots of space for the little one to run around. It was nice to go camping but still have a fridge, wifi and firepit when you've got a 2 yo with you. Also, everything is within walking distance.

Had a good stay here over the 4th weekend. Easy to check in and my tent was right by the building. There are only a few bathrooms/showers but I didn't have any trouble finding one. It was quiet at night even with it being a holiday weekend, and the bed was comfortable so I slept really well. Pool is nice, but the jets in the hot tub didn't work.
