Hale Koa Hotel

This is one of my favorites so far in 30+ years of traveling. Clean, staff is friendly and the grounds are immaculate! The location to the beach is awesome and there are places to eat on site and close by. 10 out of 10!!

The Department of Defense hotel here at Hale Koa Hotel is fantastic I will stay here again. It's convenient right on thee beach and within walking distance to the strip

My Dad is a Retired Air Force Veteran who brought us, his family, to this resort for a 3 night stay while on Oahu. Highly recommend for military families to stay at as it is affordable, includes ocean views, beach access, a well maintained property, and allows family members to received military discounts as well. The hotel has a bell hop service that allows you to drop off bags until your room is ready so you can enjoy Oahu right away.

Excellent resort. Only available to military personnel or people that they sponsor. Fabulous staff! Gorgeous grounds.

Absolutely the best value for military members and their families. Beautiful property, well maintained. Most notable difference from other neighboring hotels is the lack of congestion and overpopulation on the property. Nextdoor at the Hilton looked overpopulated while we relaxed on the beautifully maintained Hale Koa grounds. All the staff were super friendly as well and the room was serviced every single day with fresh towels. The rooms seem a little dated but very adequate. The bed selections were a bit odd (our room, booked for 2 adults, had a queen and a twin bed). Would have preferred a King.
