My partner and I were called a slur in line during pride weekend by people who cut the line and got aggressive and nasty after being called out. It was reported to staff and they still let them in. Extremely disappointing, especially during pride. I typically love the energy and diversity but I don’t think I’ll be back again after this experience.
First this is an LGBTQ bar/club. It is a much newer bar than Missie Bs. Hate to say I had my first bad experience on PRIDE Day. No food served here. Bathrooms are clean and work well. Bartenders are very good and are responsive and quick. A few times there have been different prices on the same drink. It needs to be more consistent so it is not unfair to the customers. !!!!!!!!!! Everyone needs to know this policy that is not posted anywhere: The 4 booths in the dance floor area are not first come first serve. If another party purchases a bottle ($100) your party that has already been in the booth can and will get kicked out of the booth based on lowest # of people you have in your party. Now you have to find a new seating place. These are coveted spots as it gets later in the evening as this place does get packed. Even though we had a small group we got kicked out without the option to purchase a bottle so we could stay. This was a bad surprise; especially for someone on the spectrum in the group. This could have been handled a lot better by the manager. I had to descalate people in my group. Please POST this policy above the booths so people know and are not caught off guard. If folks know the rules and policies beforehand (before getting tipsy) it would avoid higher and more agitated emotions. Specialty named drinks or those on the menu cost more ($10-12) than a vodka coke ($6). They also have a protected outside area away from the music and a small alcove out front of the bar to smoke. As it gets later there is also an upstairs bar that opens w/ 1 or 2 RR. It's quiter and people are not shouting and music is muffled. Get here a bit early and you can avoid the cover charge.
So much fun, was my first nightclub dancing experience. Staff is amazing especially when dealing with mess and also messy people. Is a beautiful space with beautiful people, especially during pride month, it feels like you have community. Hope to come back soon
This was my first proper club visit and I had a blast definitely will be back
Excellent BBQ. Sides were really good .
