Worst stay ever. Service made us feel like we were an inconvenience. I asked for toilet paper and towels, and they said house keeping is coming around which didn’t. Rooms run down. Only plus was the beds were comfortable.

Loved the pool. Had an in town vacation with my kids here for memorial weekend and it’s safe to say me and my kids had a BLAST!! We will be back for sure!

DO NOT GO HERE. Here is all of my complaints when we checked in and first got upstairs to our room the hallways smelled of pee/cigarettes and spoiled milk. The elevator smelled like pee and our bathroom was disgusting. Pubes in the shower and toilet, a brown ring around the tub and the air conditioner was loud and doesn’t stay on constant only on and off. And when it is not on it is like a sauna. Our neighbors were kicking walls and running up and down the halls every night till 1am. And the pool was outside our room which caused the lobby noises all hours of the night to be heard. The staff would walk in without any warning. No knock. No yell. Nothing. People outside were smoking and shooting up. The smell was so bad everywhere the beds had a weird smell. We had asked for our room to be cleaned and they completely ignored us. Staff were rude. The outlets hardly worked and the bed lights didn’t work at all. We had asked for extra towels and they said they didn’t have any. They do not have extra pillows and the pillows they do have are flat and short. I am done these are my complaints alot of ppl seem to have the same problem or atleast some

Front desk staff at check in was less than acceptable. She spoke with my husband twice and was rude and snarky to him after we had arrived well after the designated check in time and was told we had to wait for our room to be ready. After 45 minutes she shouted at us across the lobby that our room was ready, and was rude and snarky while checking us in. I asked if the wait was normal for the hotel to which she replied “when I’m sold out yes it is, you just have to deal with it”. We’re fine with waiting… we get it… we’re not fine with being treated like we are the problem. I let her know that her attitude and the way she was handling the situation was unacceptable to which she continued raising her voice at us, and when I walked away to ask for a manager told my husband my behavior was unacceptable, I over heard her and replied back that her attitude was in fact what was unacceptable, and she continued to try to insight an argument with me… then turned to my husband and continued making snide remarks about my attitude. We FINALLY got up to our room… and well… for over $200 a night I expected way better. There’s mold built up under the rim of the sink, the room smelled like an open can of tuna on a hot summer day…. There was someone’s toothpaste spit still all over the counter. The hallways were dirty - there were literal piles of dirt and debris everywhere… Less than sub par. Had we already not been running late to our obligations that afternoon due to the delay in check in we absolutely would have left and found somewhere else to stay. When speaking to the manager his only solution to the situation was to offer us a couple of free sodas. 10/10 will never recommend this place to anyone

We stayed in room 100 last weekend may 15th. The bathroom had visible signs of water damage on the ceiling tile above the shower. There was mold in the carpet going down the hallway in front of room 111. Saturday morning we woke up to get breakfast and it was already gone and no one was there to replace any of it. Our room looked out over the bar area and it was very loud. I definitely wouldn't stay their again The area around the hotel had atleast 4 abandoned vehicles parked on the side of the building. Very sketchy place.

This place is so gross. We got in at 2 am. Pool was closed by the health department. The bathroom was grimy and had damaged drywall. The doors were filthy. I don’t know what the brown stuff on the wall behind the desk was. They told our team mom “ignore the reviews on line. We just remodeled.” Unfortunately she listened to them. A family that we were with was given a room that was already occupied. I called other hotels. Me: this place is absolutely disgusting. Them: Are you at the Wingate? SMH. Apparently this place has a reputation. When we checked into our new hotel the lady behind the counter said “IDK how that place is still open.”

Staff was great. Loved the hot breakfast. No coffee maker in room, but good coffee in breakfast area 24/7. Found cobwebs behind curtains. Location was near our meeting. It was MUCH cheaper than the Conference Hotel with free breakfast, microwave, fridge, and no smoking.

I wouldn't waste your time calling, you'll just be put on hold for over 15 minutes. The surrounding area is going down hill. The only saving grace is how close to worlds of fun is it. But id rather have to drive a little more for a better hotel.

The staff is not very fast paced. They sit and play on their phone while you’re standing there they almost act like it’s an inconvenience that you’re asking for anything waited over an hour just to get towels the second day our keys stopped working. We had to go back down to the desk and again it was another inconvenience on our part. The pool is freezing. It is not heated. The bar drinks are very limited and expensive nine dollars for a vodka cranberry glass all over in the parking lot. The hotel is very outdated and not to mention that the guy staying next to our room I can hear his entire conversation at 3 o’clock in the morning. definitely will never stay here again.

Truly disgusting. Stayed here recently. Checked in and immediately noticed that the whole building smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. As we were headed up to our room I noticed that there was broken furniture and television lining the hallway that our room was on. Opened the door to the room and was hit with a smell of body odor and curry. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in months. There was dirt and hair all over the room. The bed looked as if a pair of 500+lb people had been laying in it for weeks on end and they had just "put some new sheets on it" and called it good. The television and refrigerator did not work. The bathroom was terrible as well. There was public hair on every surface. I would have had to go buy cleaning supplies and my own sheets before I used anything in that room. Naturally I went to the front desk and demanded that we receive a new room or our money back. The front desk then told me that I needed to meet the maintenance personnel at the room so that they could see what I was referring to. Before long 4 men showed up at the door and came into the room that me and my wife were in. These men seemed truly confused as to why I was complaining. Finally they agreed to give us a new room. My wife and I then gathered our things and waited at the front desk for a half an hour while they tried to figure this out. During this time, because the staff doesn't communicate with each other, our room was given to another couple. At this point, the man that was helping us chased these 2 young ladies down the hall and took the keys from them and handed them to us in front of them. The second room was clean. When the morning came a whole new level of disgusting was revealed to me. In the parking lot I found used needles, and a very large couple having sex on the trunk of there car. Do not be deceived by the pictures they have online. The place hasn't cleaned since they took them

Checked in and checked out within 2 hours. The room was dirty, the mirror fell off the wall after a slight bump, and a bed bug fell on my husband… DO NOT RECOMMEND.
