Robot Combat: Southern Wisconsin Robot League

Get ready for a day of sparks, strategy, and robot mayhem! We’re excited to welcome the Southern Wisconsin Robot League to The Kickback this September.
Watch custom-built antweight (1lb) combat robots battle it out inside a 6 foot by 6 foot protective arena as builders and competitors from around the Midwest put their engineering skills to the test. Whether you’re a longtime fan of robot combat, watched BattleBots on TV, or just curious to see what it’s all about, this is a unique event that’s fun for all ages.
Two robots in combat
The tournament will feature 20 competitors, with matches taking place throughout the day to find a champion. This event will be ranked in the Midwest Combat Robot Association, so every fight counts. The event will also be streamed on YouTube, so the action will reach robot combat fans far beyond The Kickback.
This event will take place in The Kickback, while the bar and arcade remain open, making it the perfect opportunity to grab a drink, play some pinball or arcade games, and catch the robot battles between rounds.
