If you are looking for a quick, convenient, easy, smooth experience, this is not the place to stay, and countless other reviews can vouch. Me and me two other friends were here for two nights. She booked a room with a double queen bed and a “historic view.” Upon arrival, we went up to our room with our room key for room 315. It kept flashing red. We were told it must be the batteries. When maintenance got there, he began trying to unlock the door from the inside. To everyone’s surprise, there were people already placed in our room that we had paid for. I felt so bad for the people in this room, because they had no idea what was going on, they probably thought someone was breaking in the way it was handled. We went back downstairs, and after 30 more minutes, were put in a room with one king bed (the one the other couple originally booked). The next morning, at 7:30am, we were called by the front desk lady telling us when housekeeping arrives, they will come to clean our rooms, and we have to take our luggage and keep it locked in their staff room until we can switch. We were like ok finally. So I asked her what time we can expect, and she said soon. 3 hours later at 10am, we received a knock from housekeeping. We pack up, bring all of our belongings downstairs to the staff room to be locked away, and leave for the day to enjoy the city. We got back around 4. A new lady is working the register, barefoot, and she immediately starts telling us she “doesn’t know, she just got here.” I asked if someone told you about this, or about any of the three bell hops full of other people’s luggage in your staff room? She then proceeds to just let us in the back. We get our luggages, she checks if our room is ready yet, and proceeds to tell us there are no rooms available. Thankfully, my friend stood up for herself and our reservation, or else we would have just left and lost money. After explaining the situation again, amazingly, the sweet couple who we needed to switch rooms with also happened to be ready to switch. The front desk lady then made the switch, and we were able to move back. If you’re staying for sheer convenience, this hotel works. It is within walking distance to just about everything in the historic district. It is in DIRE need of a management change and interior upgrades. God bless everyone involved, I truly hope for a change of heart and direction in everyone’s lives.

Very nice, however note that the rooms have no microwave. And it's about 22 stair steps up and down to the parking lot. No problem with staff however for above reasons I won't be returning.

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel and their lack of communication and accountability. I called TWO days before arrival to confirm our reservation and was assured that everything was set and we had a room. Then, the night before check-in, I was told that we no longer had a reservation. This was not just an inconvenience—this left an entire youth baseball team scrambling at the last minute to find accommodations. Families, kids, and plans were all affected because of their mistake. Completely unacceptable customer service. If you cannot honor reservations or at least give proper notice, you should not be taking bookings. Do better. I would not recommend staying here if you expect reliability or basic communication.

Booked through a third party site 3 weeks before our stay. 2 days before our stay, I rumors that they were cancelling rooms so I called and my reservation was confirmed. They stated the day and everything. Night before, a friend got a phone call about cancellation so I called and they confirmed my booking would be cancelled too, trying to say they’re overbooked. Highly suggest to NOT stay here unless you want to chance being cancelled. More than likely because they increased prices on their site and we got a cheap price before prices went up due to a tournament

DONT BOOK FROM A THIRD PARTY WITH THEM AND EXPECY A ROOM. THEY WILL CANCEL ON YOU TO TAKE A DIRECT RESERVATION!! We had almost a whole team booked through booking dot com with them and they canceled all our reservations the night before we showed up after we confirmed the reservation two days prior. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!! DONT TRUST THEM. SHADY !!
