Very good experience. Our food came fast. Our server was friendly and everything was picture perfect. I got the big breakfast and it did not disappoint.

The waitstaff were sweet and attentive, but the food was awful. I had fried eggs Benedict, the hollandaise sauce was watery and flavorless, fried green tomatoes did not have flavor, and the egg was undercooked. Eggs Benedict is not a simple recipe and the problem with a lot of restaurants is they don’t want to spend money on real chefs to properly cook and season their food. Three of our table ordered crawfish omelettes as recommended by the staff, and they could barely eat them. The crawfish tails had clearly been frozen, and the omelettes were dry. The best things about our meals were the potatoes. As people from the south who have eaten crawfish all our lives, this was a bit insulting. Last, the bathroom was atrocious. Like a bad gas station experience. Some people say that if a restaurant’s bathroom isn’t clean then the kitchen isn’t either. Absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend this restaurant and once again, am unsure how it has so many high reviews.

Terrible service I waited 30 minutes for salad grilled chicken to only get on the road to Georgia to find out that they didn't have any dressing now I have a $14 salad that I can't eat. I wish they paid attention to the details. This should be common sense to include.

Excellent food, atmosphere, & service was top tier

That was without a doubt the worst breakfast we’ve ever had. Food took over an hour to arrive on a Wednesday with only a few people in there, and then when it arrived, the pancakes were undercooked and my boys refused to eat them. The orange juice came out with ice cubes in it, the shrimp and grits were bland, and the chocolate milks were made with spoiled, sour milk. To their credit, they made us new drinks and comped them, but the whole experience was just awful. No idea how this place has 4.7 stars. The ONLY redeeming quality was that our server was really sweet.

Beatrice was our server. Food was excellent eggs Benedict with crabcakes and shrimp and grits both fantastic!

Miss Dee at Lux Cafe was Dee-Bomb! Her presence is warm and welcoming and the service in general was a wonderful experience. Thanks Dee for treating me like family!
