Sapphic Book Crush is a singles night for queer women and nonbinary readers at Book Club Bar — everyone in the room is single, everyone came to meet someone, and the shelves break the ice.
Before the event, register below on Eventbrite and we’ll text you a link to our Asaya companion app where you’ll be able to tell us what books you love and who you might have a bit of a crush on.
We match you to 6-8 queer readers based for six minutes each—one at a time, with plenty of open time to browse, drink, and mingle afterwards.
Yes, that’s right: you get to talk to your crush, about your favorite books, at your favorite bookstore. And you don’t even have to ask for their number at the end of the night.

How the night goes
8:00 — Doors. Grab a drink, check in with one tap, and your evening unlocks.
8:20 — Round one. Your phone shows exactly who you’re meeting and where — you’ll never wonder who to approach.
8:30–9:45 — More introductions, about ten minutes each, with browsing and mingling between rounds. Want an opener? We’ll hand you one.
9:45 — Last round. By now the room is loud.
10:00 — Send likes on our Asaya companion app, or just trade numbers.
