Came here on Halloween a few months ago & the line for the bathroom was insanely long, me and my 3 other friends waited in the 45 min line for the 2 bathrooms & there were so many people randomly joining the line in front of us, or dancing and then coming back to their group, which was whatever people were drunk, but when we were closer to the front the security guard from outside (a man btw) came to the front of the line, me thinking he’s there to make sure people aren’t taking an absurd amount of time, but no as soon as a bathroom became available he went in to use it. insane move anyways still was like whatever we’re almost there and then the group of front of us went in (about 10 of them it seemed) and when the other opened me and my 3 friends went in. There was never a moment where at least one of us was not on that toilet, but not even 2 minutes in and there’s a violent banging on our door. Not just one or two but constant so I went near the door because I didn’t want to open since my friend was on the toilet and yelled we’re using the bathroom & I hear “hurry up there’s a long line out here” (as if we were unaware and didn’t just wait 45 min ourselves) and I yelled exactly that back and again continued intense fist banging on the door so I go out as my last friend is using the bathroom still and when I walk out it’s the bartender (brunette & glasses) I’m telling her she has no business banging on the door like that and that we waited just like everyone else and they just have to wait too I told her about the guard that came up and cut all of us thinking he was going to regulate and she should’ve been here 20 minutes ago and she just said oh he’s just dumb and then has the audacity to tell me to calm down and says “first of it’s my birthday” as if that has anything to do with the situation at hand and I just said happy birthday don’t come banging on the door like that and then proceed to tell me to be the one to calm down. Then just told me to tell my friends to hurry up and left back behind the bar. Music was lame house music anyways we just left after that. Soo insane & so unfortunate considering there’s not a ton of lesbian bars in LA, but I’d go anywhere else before going back there. should not allow an unregulated temper like that to communicate with guests who were literally doing nothing wrong

I met my girlfriend here. We’ve been together for like 2.5 years now. Thanks honeys! Also, to the people complaining about having to tip the bartender- stay home? You’re probably a horrible person and bringing the energy down anyways. Place is small, so expect to be close to people.

Femme brunette bartender was rude. It wasn’t even busy and she was acting like everything was the biggest inconvenience. She needs to find a diff job cuz shawty acts like she’s absolutely miserable

Mack made the night. Zach, Ash, and Mack were very sweet and professional. Drinks were delicious and everyone was very chill. Always be smart and safe, and if you had a good time here leave a review! Very nice atmosphere.

As one of the only lesbian bars in the city, i would expect a greater degree of hospitality and courtesy. Previously, we tipped 20% on top of the mandated gratuity, even though the bartenders act questionably. We wanted to show our friends what the queer scene can look like and we left utterly disappointed. Don’t expect any sense of community or respect, especially for queer women of color.
