Have no accountability and have major biases , dj is horrible same music is played every weekend if owner knew how to run a establishment he hold his employees accountable EDIT: the biases i see are towards certain people, some get in free some are favorited for drinks, ive seen harrasment and have seen it not handled although is was in plain sight of security, i dont mean to be an ass i just want to see fairness in how people are treated and how situations are handled , i mightve been exaggerating about the dj they do fine on most night but the music sometimes is repetitive

Went here with friends and one of our group was groped by another patron. When we reported it and stood up for our friend, we were the ones banned — not the person who committed the assault. The staff protected the aggressor and punished the victims for speaking up. Would not recommend this bar to anyone, especially women. Avoid if you expect basic safety and accountability.

Went for midget wrestling it was insanely fun

In club for less then 15 minutes; paid cover, served drinks and kicked out. Due to outfits, booty cheeks out, there are worse things that could be occuring. Experience was lame music was ok. Wish it was a better experience cause now will continue to stay near home or up to seattle. GOING DOWN SOUTH shouldn't SUCK, SMH. Be better and more inclusive to the QUEENS. Dont be a drag just be a Queen as the great Lady Gaga says.

I really wish the DJs they get were better; three different dance parties and DJs, all the transitions between songs were jarring, or just a straight up silence for a couple beats.. not the most fun to dance to lol. Otherwise pretty good crowd, decent people. Do not expect official allyship from this place with LGBT crowds, the owners have proven (repeatedly) that they don't want to be associated with drag, for example.

Good place to go, decent cover charge it was only $8 when we went. Drinks were a little higher priced then I'm used to $12 for a fireball coke.

I’ve been following Jake’s since July when I moved to Olympia in 2025, and we finally decided to check it out this past Saturday (the 21st). Even though I had reached out on Instagram beforehand to ask what kind of music they’d be playing (they mentioned Friday/Saturday dance nights), we found out upon arrival it was Hannah Montana night — not exactly my go-to, but honestly the vibes made up for it. From the start, the experience was great. The staff at the door were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. We stuck with the same bartender all night — she was amazing, quick, and super polite (wish I caught her name!). We didn’t try the food, but everything we saw and smelled looked delicious, and people we talked to had great things to say about it. By around 11:30–11:45, the place was packed — a line wrapped outside the door with people waiting to get in — but the energy stayed positive the entire time. Everyone was there to have a good time, and you could feel it. Later in the night, the music switched things up and mixed in other genres, which really brought more people to the dance floor. We’ll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend it to friends. I’ll be keeping an eye out for a country or line dancing night next!

If I could give the atmosphere a negative number I would. The DJ’s are good if we’re looking for 40 year old dudes who should be playing weddings and family reunions for free but not a club in desperate need of revamping. You guys will close quicker than I’ve left your dance nights.

They use AI for their promotions. The new owners really turned their back on what this place used to be. I reccomend you take your queer dollars somewhere else where it could actually help the local community.
