Lambda Phoenix Center at 2622 N 16th Street, at Virginia Avenue, is a recovery centre for the LGBTQ community. It has run for more than 30 years and hosts over 25 twelve-step meetings a week, every day of the year, across fellowships including AA, Al-Anon, CoDA, CMA, NA, SAA and SLAA. Meetings run at midday and in the evening, and the current schedule is on lambdaphx.org. It's a sober space rather than a social venue, and visitors in recovery are welcome at open meetings. Francis Gonzalez is going to throw a fit because somebody told him not to park on the property? Just because you're a neighboring business doesn't give you the right to park on others property. Keep it professional pal. This is supposed to be a review about a safe haven and a meeting Hall for a lot of people. Move on with your whining. This place holds great meetings. Get off the review.

They welcome everyone here. The meetings are fun (New Hope CMA) but also well organized and run. I love the speakers they get, it gives you a different perspective. Some of the speakers lived through the AIDS epidemic and have a very unique experience to share. The building is clean and very nice. You get greeted with a warm hello every time.
