Smack dab in the middle of PNC ballpark & Acrisure Stadium. For a sports fan who can arrive a bit early and stay it's great. Good restaurants and everything is walkable. Parking is as expected in a downtown setting and very convenient to the hotel.

Prime location downtown within walking distance of both stadiums. However, housekeeping was very spotty. Had to call front desk to even have housekeeping come one day. And when they came they made the bed and replaced towels. They did not replace the liner for the ice bucket, restock new clean glasses, nor restock coffee supplies. Never vacuumed once in the 6 days we were there and it was like pulling teeth to get them even there to clean. Also when I checked in, I had booked 2 rooms. I was in one room and my adult daughter in the other room. No one at the front desk told me that my Hyatt App could only connect to one room, nor which room would be on my app. Of course my app had my daughter's room on it. I went to the front desk and they said they could not change it on my app... so that was poor. The last thing is that they charge for you to park your car. This was not included in any details when I booked the rooms. I understand charging but I had paid for the rooms before showing up. So I was not happy that I was charged an additional $260 on top of my prepaid reservation. This should have been mentioned during booking and or given the option of including the parking in the reservation.

Great hotel in very close proximity to restaurants and the ballpark. When we arrived, parking was easy, and we didn't need to touch our car for the remainder of the trip. Walked everywhere. If we did need our car, though, it was easy to go in and out from the lot, as it was self-park. Hotel staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel!

We booked the “King Bed Specialty Corner Room” directly through the hotel’s own website. After taxes and fees, the room was over $850 for one night, which was obviously concert-weekend pricing due to the hotel's proximity to the venue. We understood that going in. We were in town for a special occasion after driving eight hours from Northern Michigan to attend a concert, and while the money itself was not an issue, spending that much on one hotel room is not typical for us. This was supposed to be a splurge. What we did not expect was to pay $850 for the privilege of being unwillingly entered into an infuriating round of hotel room roulette. This was not in the fine print. Trust me - I checked. Check-in was at 4:00PM but we arrived around 2:00PM Since I have extensive hotel experience, I know early check-in is never guaranteed, but it also never hurts to ask. The woman at the front desk was very kind, looked up our reservation from the printout I gave her, and specifically told me that our room was not ready yet but should be soon. Importantly, she did not say the room type did not exist. She did not say there was a problem with our reservation. She confirmed the room we booked existed, was assigned to us, and simply was not ready yet. She gave us a parking pass so we could leave our vehicle in the hotel lot and walk across the street to Tom’s Watch Bar for lunch while we waited for the room we reserved, paid for, and were told would be ready soon. We returned at 4:05PM to check in. The original woman was gone, and another employee began the check-in process. About halfway through, she informed us that the room we had booked was no longer available because they had given it to someone else. So this was not simply a “downgrade.” The hotel confirmed our room at 2:00PM, told us it was being prepared, sent us off to wait, and then gave that room to another guest before we came back. We asked if the new room was smaller. She confirmed it was. We asked if it was cheaper. She said no. So, to recap: the hotel sold us a specific, more expensive room, confirmed it existed and was being prepared for us, gave it to someone else while we were waiting, placed us in a smaller room, and still expected us to pay the same price. Truly, a bold interpretation of the word “reservation.” A manager then came over and offered to refund our parking fee, which was roughly $20-something. That was presented as though it somehow addressed the issue, which it did not. Refunding parking after giving away an $850 reserved room is not a resolution. It is a decorative apology. After going up to the room, I came back down to speak with the manager again. I showed her the reservation printout from their own website clearly listing the room type we booked. She initially tried to tell me they did not have that room type, which was especially impressive considering it was printed directly on the reservation I had handed her and had been confirmed by the front desk two hours earlier. After some back and forth, she eventually acknowledged that it did appear we had reserved that room type. I then pointed out that the price difference between the room we booked and the smaller room we were given was about $150 on their website. She first offered $50 off, which did not come close to the actual difference. When I explained that we were not asking for a courtesy discount, we were asking not to be charged for a room we did not receive, she pushed back for several minutes. It was only after it became clear that I was not going to simply accept the smaller room and absorb the difference that she finally agreed to refund the actual price difference.

Location is amazing. If this is a one and done visit to Pittsburg, then this hotel is perfect. However, the rooms are very old and need more than a refresh. We were put into the wrong room at first, but the front desk took care of it as soon as we pointed it out The set up of the room is strange, with the television hard to view from most angles. The staff is friendly. The biggest surprise was an AMAZING breakfast. We will try elsewhere next time.

Great location. Staff was excellent. Was told rooms being remodeled Spring 2027 and they can use a refresh. But they are not in bad shape now. Would recommend.
