Denny Blaine Park

Denny Blaine Park is Seattle's famous unofficial gay and clothing-optional beach, a small, leafy cove on Lake Washington just below the mansions of the Denny-Blaine neighborhood. For decades it has been a beloved summer gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community, especially lesbians and queer women, with a relaxed, sun-soaked vibe on warm days.

Heads up for 2026: the beach has been the subject of an ongoing city dispute. A proposed playground that would have displaced the nude beach was halted, and the city has since introduced signage, designated zones, and stepped-up enforcement around nudity and parking.
