Was Rezensenten sagen

Visitors frequently praise the Uptown Inn & Suites for its excellent downtown location, proximity to attractions like the pier and museums, and clean rooms. However, a common complaint is the $25 nightly valet parking fee, which some find inconvenient or slow, though staff are generally noted as friendly and helpful.

I booked through Expedia and did not even stop to go in. Because the place was scary. It looked nothing like the photo and immediately said I could not get a refund. I cannot believe Expedia is even promoting this place. Do not.I repeat, do not book here!!

We had a late check in on 4-23-26. There was no one there at our check in time. There were other patrons that needed things, and someone else went to a few rooms to knock on doors, where she thought the check-in woman might be. She was asleep in one of the rooms. But she comes down to check us in, and she was clearly on something. But we got a room, and it was FILTHY! Gross sheets, dilapidated kitchen, crumbs somehow ON TOP of the microwave. I was going to use the restroom before we came down and complained, but when I entered, there was no mirror. Then, I saw something on the ground and toilet sink that made me pause. Literal, actual, BLOOD. Droplets on the floor, and spray on the sink and toilet seat. That was the last straw. I know it was blood, because my partner is a nurse, and I thought I was being dramatic at first. But he confirmed, and I couldn’t take it. My partner is kind, but the front desk woman said that if we wanted a refund, we had to wait til morning to call and talk to a manager. I’ll admit, I was a little strict with her. I’ve stayed in some shitty places, but that was ridiculous. We found another place the same night, because it was after midnight, but we never got our money back. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I’m filing a complaint with evidence with the dpdr. I hope this place gets shut down.

This business should not be running. I was okay to excuse the unavailable staff at of check-in, the abrupt $50 deposit, the 40min wait for my room, the rundown condition of the property, the cigar odor, the broken blinds, loud neighbors during quiet hours, or the restroom with a faulty doorknob and heavily damaged shower. For the price, I was willing to excuse that since all I needed for the night was a place to hold my belongings and a bed to rest my head. I just needed one night. My tipping point was when I returned to my room in the evening and had MULTIPLE roaches swarm through the threshold. Who knows how many more had already been in the room with my luggage open for them to crawl in. I attempted to eliminate the largest one; it resisted stomping and slapping with a wet washcloth. For how unsettling the infestation was, I did not feel comfortable sleeping for the night in the instance bed bugs might show up. I ended up checking out several hours before their office opened. They did not have a drop box for such a case, so I left my key somewhere else and contacted them in the morning to be sure they retrieved it. Leaving early was made so inconvenient. We were told to report emergencies to 107, but this wasn't exactly severe. Only pros: - Public pool, sunrise to sunset - Microwave (dirty), smart TV (dirty), mini fridge w/ freezer, free WiFi - Relaxed staffed (to a fault) - Public transportation right across the street - No weirdos nearby

5/17-5/21 26 Booked through booking. Com Property is in shambles. I showed to what seemed to be near kennel like conditions in what I'm assuming was a front desk. Not sure who was employment there or who stays there. I was told prior to check in my room needed to be finished cleaning. If I wanted to go somewhere and wait she would call when room was clean.... They then send me a text message stating no rooms available and I'm very sorry.... No reply to any further communication in fact I was blocked Neither the"Uptown Suites" nor booking. Com made any effort to address the emails needed to get my 211 dollars back.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE
