Washburn Hotel Suites

I stay here every year for kids State wrestling and for Softball tournaments. Its like an apartment. Has full fridge and stove. Also has wash machine and dryer for siglet and uniforms. I only stay here while in Topeka. * only 3 minutes away from State wrestling!

0/5 • Still attempting to resolve issue with booking, and being charged for a stay at this property, upon arrival, there was no staff on-site and simply a piece of paper with a contact phone number on the lobby entrance doors, directing those who arrive After-Hours to call in order to retrieve room keys / Check-in. After a very surprising and wildly unhelpful 65 second call to that number, all I learned is the person who answered would not be able to provide keys or access to my booked room, and they had no additional information on how to be refunded my $128.97 after being denied my stay by the property, but advertising as post-midnight check-in option on PRICELINE.com App. I continue to wait for ANY response from Washburn Hotel Suites in any capacity after booking me a room today, taking my money, not providing me a room, and providing no information on getting my money back on a falsely advertised service they had no means to provide myself, or anyone else who utilized the advertised service and attempted accessing their rooms by calling the number stated on lobby doors to call.

Large apartment - full kitchen, washer/dryer, balcony, the one we stayed in had 3 bathrooms to go along with the 3 bedrooms. Excellent value for the price.

The best staff!

Good place to stay. Spacious and centrally located. It has a café on the ground floor with very good quality food and service. The cleanliness could perhaps be improved. Very safe, with night security.

It's a nice place to stay. Great value for the price. The person at the checking me (owner/manager?) in was pleasant and very helpful. The night person was great too. I would stay here again.

Only downside my wife and I experienced was the bed, was a bit broken in but overall was well worth it!

Check in was a pain. No one was there to check us in and then the employee was rude after finally showing up. Rooms were not at all clean and the sheets definitely were not washed. Did not feel safe as a woman alone.

I will never stay at this hotel after walking by and being accosted by a larger blonde woman who claimed to be the owner. My boyfriend and I were walking our dog through the neighborhood when a woman parked out front of the hotel began yelling at us for being near the hotel entrance. We calmly explained that we were just walking by and the woman claiming to be the owner became more and more verbally aggressive. She threatened to call the cops and hotel security on us for walking on the sidewalk and was yelling at us for no reason. If she is the owner, I am appalled that this is how she speaks to people just passing by. My boyfriend and I were just confused how someone could be so nasty for no reason!

Fully furnished kitchen. Washer and dryer. Iron hair dryer. TV in all rooms. We loved it.
