La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Wausau

What a great hotel and location for our visit to the Eye Clinic. Jim at the front desk was so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. Thank you!

Stayed here often and breakfast isn't getting better. Not sure why hot breakfast isn't hot. Tempature on warmers is not accurately reflecting the food. Eggs are not hot enough to melt cheese??? - it could be so much better if it at least was hot enough to pass food inspector's check. Who ever thought there would be no microwave available? - at least guests could heat their own food. Generally fine place to stay. McDonalds is across the parking lot.

The room was excellent and very clean. It was an assesible room, and worked well for my showers. The staff was very helpful, and the front desk personnel was avaliable for my questions, and we're cheerful and polite...Breakfast was very tasty and had great choices Quite yummy.. .If I had to stay again in Wausau this hotel would be #1 on my list. thanks for a nice stay.........

Great accomodations

Very nice pool. Loved the feeling of the beds. Bathrooms were a very tight squeeze though.

Customer service is terrible! Checked in at 2am and by 11am the head of house keeping was banging on my door asking me to leave. Even after I advised her that I had just checked in. Then she went on to say I was "talking shit" because she kept waking me unnecessarily. Better training is definitely needed. Rooms are decent though.

Clean room, accommodating front desk. Manager Nick was helpful with room accommodations. Checking went smoothly. Checking out was stressful for me and the front desk personnel.

This was a great place to stay while visiting the Granite Peak ski resort. The hotel was a very short drive to the resort and is located near lots of dining options. FYI there is no elevator to the second floor, but there are several stairwells if you're on floor 2.

The experience was good.

Service was great and room was comfy and clean. Only did not give full 5 star because the soap in bathroom was empty (one pump left). Only other issues is the flood lights outside the windows. They are pointed at the building and on all night. It made it like it was daytime outside all night and lit the room even with the curtains closed.
