Was Rezensenten sagen

Stayed here 4 nights for WeHo Pride and loved the Montrose! The rooms are spacious and apartment-like with everything you need, the location is perfect in walking distance to all the popular bars and restaurants, and the staff is so friendly and provided excellent service. The rooftop pool is gorgeous as well. Can’t wait to stay at the Montrose again soon!

Good location. If you don't request room cleaning, they won't do it. During our stay, they couldn't fix the safe. Small gym.

The hotel is very well located, which is definitely one of its strongest points. However, the overall service experience was far below expectations. During our stay, none of the issues we raised were properly resolved, and the attention from the staff was inefficient and disappointing. In addition, housekeeping is inconvenient, as you have to specifically request room cleaning and towel changes; otherwise, they simply do not do it. It’s a shame, because with better service, the overall experience could have been much more positive.

Montrose at Beverly Hills is a perfect example of how a stylish boutique hotel in a great Los Angeles location can completely ruin the guest experience with the front desk attitude. Before arrival, I emailed the hotel explaining that my colleague would arrive one day earlier without a credit card, and that I would personally arrive the next day to provide the security deposit for both rooms. The hotel never responded — apparently their version of communication is silence. When my colleague arrived, the real adventure began. Cash deposit? No. Online payment link? No. Credit card over the phone? No. Speaking politely to a paying guest? Also no. The tone from the front desk felt less like hospitality and more like we owed them money personally. Despite the rooms being fully prepaid, they acted as if we were trying to sneak into the building through the kitchen entrance. Eventually, they “graciously” allowed my colleague to stay for one night, warning him that his key would stop working at 11 AM the next day unless I appeared in person. Nothing says “welcome to Beverly Hills” quite like threatening to deactivate a guest’s room key. The funniest part came when I finally arrived, provided the deposit for both rooms, and calmly mentioned that the check-in experience had been unpleasant. Instead of apologizing, the front desk agent said she was surprised her colleagues had even allowed him to check in. No smiles. No warmth. No effort to help. The only genuinely friendly person at the hotel was the valet guy, who somehow understood the basic concept of hospitality better than the entire reception team combined. Beautiful property. Great location. But the front desk seriously needs to relearn what the hospitality industry is supposed to be about.

More like a residential hotel, it turns out, than a hotel. No robes or slippers, have to request housekeeping service! I was surprised I had to request housekeeping daily as an option and they were surprised I requested it, which was begrudgingly granted. Weird.

Montrose at Beverly Hills is an amazing option if you want to experience staying in the West Hollywood area while still having comfort, space, and a great central location for exploring Los Angeles. The rooms are large and well-designed, with a kitchen area and a balcony overlooking LA, which made the stay feel much more relaxed and personal compared to a standard hotel room. The rooftop pool and bar are fantastic, offering stunning views across the city, and the rooftop tennis court was a very cool surprise — especially for GTA V fans who will immediately recognise the vibe. The staff were excellent throughout our entire stay, from check-in to check-out, always friendly, supportive, and helpful. Parking is expensive, but that’s simply part of the LA experience — you’re paying for convenience and safety. The location is incredibly practical as well: around 30 minutes to Santa Monica, and roughly the same to Downtown LA or Universal Studios, making it a perfect base for exploring different parts of the city. A very cool hotel with a relaxed luxury feel that fit perfectly into our California trip.
