Hyatt Place Melbourne Airport

Love this hotel.! Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and one of the best breakfasts you can find anymore! And, the people are very nice!

This place is great. New rooms, good service and neat location.

Very convenient for the airport. Rooms are quite large. Unfortunately, in the one I was in, the safe was locked by a previous user and the shower dripped all night on to a metal tray which was very annoying. The rooftop bar and grill was good, with views over the airport runways.

We booked a room 5 night on morning of Day 4 my disabled child was using the restroom and while she was using the toilet I hear her scream that it’s raining inside the restroom so I go to check it out and it was the toilet above us the leak was yellow and it smelled so bad a strong order of urine and yes it did get on her she felt ill a few hours later so I took her to the HOSPITAL as she was having a fever and stomach pain this worst experience we have ever had at a HYATT!! They changed our room we went up with all our bags to realize the room they gave us belong to someone else so I had to go down with a stroller and all our bags and both of my disabled kids!! The manger was clueless only had half of the story with her employees stating I wanted to stay in a room that was leaking pee from the Ceiling above our toilet super disgusting and the General manager CAME OVER TO US WITH HIS CHEST PUMP UP READY TO AGURE WITHOUT KNOWING THE FULL ISSUE maybe that’s what he’s into 🤦‍♀️😩 THEY REFUNDED ONE NIGHT DOWNGRADE OUR ROOM WHILE STILL CHARGING ME SAME PRICE AS THE BIGGER ROOM NEVER AGAIN IN THIS LOCATION !

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Place. The room was spacious, bucking the current trend of cramped rooms with multiuse fixtures. Everything was clean and in good repair. Bed was comfortable and roof-top bar and grill were great for a night in.

When we first arrived, we use the digital key, but you need an actual key to turn on the lights in the room which sucks checking in late at night, so I had to leave my family run back down and get a physical key so why have a digital key? And the room was hot, the AC was not left on. The pool area has no umbrellas no shade whatsoever. Some people were huddled up in corners against the building and there was no towels. We got the last two. The AC in the rooms only goes to 70°. They have it locked out so you cannot go lower than 70 and I think that is ridiculous. But one massive positive the ice machine had pellet ice! Not that good for a cooler but really good for your drink drinks. They are also not on every floor so ask of you have one on your floor Breakfast was great real plates glass cups you don’t see that too much anymore. Standard breakfast eggs sausage, yogurt. Had issues with the digital key and the room key they kept on erasing, but the hotel staff really helped us out with that. The hotel is really nice new and the lobby is very nice and being right on an airport is super cool. The roof top restaurant is really good worth a try with the views and airport is really nice a sunset. We are staying again for softball tournament in two weeks.

The service was very good, the terrace was lovely, and the breakfast was very complete. Overall, a very good hotel for relaxing.
