A sleepy little beach hamlet away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach where the main Ocean Boulevard is adorned with three-story beach houses. I visited in the winter yet the beach saw many visitors walking the shoreline throughout the morning and afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many shells. I did not see any garbage anywhere and I noted that anyone with dogs off leash were quickly approached by police vehicles on the beach to ask them to leash their dogs. It was a serene and clean atmosphere.

Beach was OK. We had a certified medical service dog and the beach patrol harassed us multiple times per day, every single day for having her on the beach. She didn't bark at people, was very well behaved, and minded her own business. I can't say the same for the people. There were so many Nosy Nellies and Crotchety Carls at our condo that you couldn't sneeze without them getting offended. Seriously. We spent a lot of money for this vacation and we all left with a bad impression of this place. This is the only time we will ever spend our hard- earned money at this awful place. We are leaving a day early and can't wait to get out of here. We hope your condo association and beach patrol enjoy the Federal fines for violating the ADA.

Super family friendly beach with a much better vibe than the main area of Myrtle Beach. Beaches are wide and well kept. Fishing pier was a can’t miss. I recommend the Duck Dive Bar for food and drinks…total local hang out.

Amazing beach that is perfect for the family. Tons of things to do including mini-golf and go-carts close by. u If you like fishing, the pier is great (and right near 35th). I caught 9 fish and my daughter caught 7!

Cherry Grove is a great part of the Grand Strand. We were in an area with mostly low-rise buildings and private homes so the beach was not overcrowded, even on 4th of July, yet it was a quick walk or drive to restaurants, grocery store, etc. I'd visit again!

Love this beach for relaxing with family or just with significant other. Great place to enjoy 4th of July and watch fireworks show from the Cherry Grove Pier.

Amazing views, quieter than the resort areas. More residential with condos and homes. In between the marsh and the beach there are parkmobile places to park, so if you stay longer than anticipated extend your parking or for sure will get ticketed. Dolphins can be seen in the am around 8am headed north feeding about 100 feet off shore. Be careful of beach statements and rip current advisories on the local weather. An amazing beach everyone should visit. Very peaceful and romantic in the off season as well.

The beach was stunning—clean, with soft sand, and the waves were perfect for swimming. I also loved the peaceful atmosphere, which made it a great spot for relaxing. Cherry Grove offers a blend of nature and entertainment, from the pier to nearby parks. There are also plenty of great local restaurants serving fresh seafood!”Cherry Grove. Is it family-friendly? Laid-back? Great for couples or solo travelers. Cherry Grove had a wonderful, laid-back vibe that made me feel like I was in a peaceful little beach town. It was perfect for families, but also great for a quiet retreat.”I highly recommend Cherry Grove for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. I’ll definitely be back next year!”

After reading several positive reviews for Lucky Panda, while we were doing a mini-vacay , we ate an early evening dinner at the Lucky Panda. The restaurant does a great deal of take-out and has seating for lunch and dinner occupants. The restaurant is basic in seating and ambience; however, the food is very impressive in presentation, price, and taste. The portions are abundant and expect to take home food unless you share an entry. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the North Myrtle Beach.

A wonderful, quiet beach. A bit off the beaten path, which makes it nice and quiet. Nice shell finds, clean, good walking. Enjoyed it here more than down in Myrtle Beach. Less people, only see 1 or 2 in the off season.
