El Folsom Street Fair es el mayor evento de cuero y fetiche del mundo, transformando un tramo de 13 manzanas de Folsom Street en el distrito SoMa de San Francisco en una celebración al aire libre del cuero y la libertad sexual cada septiembre. Más de 400.000 personas asisten — convirtiéndolo no solo en el mayor evento leather sino en uno de los mayores eventos de un solo día de California.
Desde su fundación en 1984, el Folsom Street Fair ha sido simultáneamente un recaudador de fondos (recaudando millones para organizaciones LGBTQ+), un evento cultural positivo con el sexo y un hito del carácter distintivo de San Francisco.
