A very pleasant surprise at the Novotel in Cotonou! We come to Benin very regularly and have tried quite a few places during our stays. We had a wonderful day at the Novotel pool: everything is really very clean and well-maintained, the pool is spotless, the food is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is truly top-notch. And frankly, the price of access is very reasonable for the quality of the place and the services. But our absolute favorite was Alex, the “cocktail king”… and there, finally!!! 😄 We were finally able to drink a real Sodabi-based cocktail! It might seem like a small detail, but when you come to Benin, you also want to experience the country's products and flavors. And surprisingly, it's not always easy to find authentic cocktails that showcase Sodabi rather than rum or other imported spirits. For me, it was Sodabi and bissap: delicious, perfectly balanced, and above all, truly Beninese. Exactly what we were looking for! Benin is brimming with products, flavors, and riches that deserve to be celebrated, so being able to enjoy them by the Novotel pool was a real treat. Thank you to the whole team for the warm welcome, and a special shout-out to Alex: the title of “cocktail king” is well-deserved! 😉 We'll be back.

Excellent stay. Attentive staff. Always a pleasure.

Great experience
