Bunk Brisbane

Definitely a good stay, great facilities and the staff are very friendly and helpful. In a great location in Fortitude Valley, lots of things to do very close to the hotel

Overall, good stay. The service was very good. All staff very kind and welcoming. The bar had free drinks at 7pm most evenings, which was very generous. There are amazing deals such as $13 pizza and burgers, which is very helpful for travellers on a budget that can't be asked to cook! Also, lots of entertaining things happening at the bar in the evening, such as bingo and quiz night! I must say the location isn't amazing. Unfortunately this hostel is not in the centre of Brisbane, you have to get a short train. The walk to the train station felt very unsafe, lots of dodgy characters. This is not the fault of the hostel, just something to be wary of. Insane range of good priced Asian cuisine round the hostel😍😍

I had a great stay at Bunk Brisbane—definitely one of the top hostels I’ve visited so far. The rooms were nice and offered a good level of privacy, which I really appreciated. The air conditioning worked well, and the bathrooms were clean and convenient, with private toilets and showers. The kitchen is spacious, making it easy to cook and hang out. The overall vibe was okay—nothing amazing, but still comfortable. There’s also a pool upstairs and a bar, which adds a nice social element to the stay. One thing to note: there are quite a lot of stairs throughout different areas of the hostel, so it might not be ideal if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Overall, a solid choice and I’d definitely consider staying again.

I don't understand why the rating is so low; it's inevitable to encounter uncomfortable people and situations in shared spaces. But to be fair, this hotel has many rooms at a low price, and they provided me with a place to stay when I needed it most, preventing me from having to sleep on the streets. I'm very grateful. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly upon check-in. Another time, when I had a layover and wanted to stay in a short-term room, they answered the phone quickly and arranged things efficiently. I will come back next time333

I recommend this hostel that provide clean and modern rooms. The kitchen is big and has all the devices needed, the cutlery and the plates are dirty though. There is a bar in the hostel which is quite expensive. There is a refreshing pool as well. I think the best thing about this hostel is definitely the rooms, you have a private toilet and shower in the room, a light in the bed and a lot of privacy for a dorm.

Best Hostel I have seen in Australia so far.
