There really isn’t much I can add to all the other five star reviews, except to say that this is genuine luxury as opposed to the promise of it held out by large hotel chains, but not usually fulfilled. Everything here has been very carefully thought out and the attention to detail is amazing (particularly in relation to breakfast!) When my partner requested a thinner pillow to deal with a neck issue, Adrian created one for him. A gem.

We had a fantastic stay at the The Dudley Boutique Hotel last weekend. It’s a beautifully appointed small hotel, and you can immediately tell how much thought has gone into every detail of the design, fitout and overall feel. It strikes that rare balance of being both refined and genuinely comfortable. What really sets it apart, though, is the service. Charles and Adrian are exceptional hosts; professional, warm, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. The genuine pride and passion they have for the hotel and the experience they create is a standout. Having stayed in many hotels around the world, this is some of the best service we’ve experienced. It’s personalised, thoughtful and consistent from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. If you want to understand what great hospitality looks like, this is it. Breakfast absolutely lives up to the reputation. Beyond just being delicious, you can feel the care that goes into it; from the local produce to the homemade touches. Charles’ passion for food is clearly evident. The whole experience was exactly what we were looking for - quiet, relaxing and genuinely rejuvenating. The added touches made it feel even more special: wine and cheese in the evenings, transfers into town for dinner, and thanks again Adrian for ironing my shirts ;) I still feel guilty!. Nothing ever felt like an issue. As the locals said to us on multiple occasions - they have changed accommodation and hospitality in the area. No one comes close anymore. Its easy to see why. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again for such a memorable stay.

I felt very looked after by the hosts, Adrian and Charles. Appreciated take away dinner pick up from Daylesford by Charles each evening. It was presented to me on a tray with cutlery and I was given the choice where to eat it. The place was like a retreat, very quiet during the day and I loved sitting on the decking, reading and listening to the birds with no one else about. The room and the sitting rooms are very stylish and I enjoyed meeting several other guests in the evening with a glass of wine. A very safe welcoming place as a solo traveller.

What a luxurious stay we had. From the time we pulled up and were welcomed by Adrian and Charles the service was beyond our expectations. The wine and cheese experience on the balcony was amazing with the perfect still Autumn afternoon complementing the time. Charles booked dinner for us at a local restaurant and provided us with transport. We had a relaxing magnesium spa with a beautiful fruit tea. Breakfast was above our expectations. The rooms were clean and perfectly suited to our needs. We feel very spoiled and are appreciative of our stay.

My recent stay at The Dudley Boutique Hotel in Hepburn Springs was an absolute masterclass in unobtrusive luxury (which is rare these days). From the moment we arrived until the second we departed, the experience felt seamless, private, and deeply rejuvenating. Even before we checked in, the team sent over an excellent online guidebook that made planning our dining and local wandering so much easier. The rooms are both tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. Having stayed in their standard rooms previously, we gave the Spa Suites a try this trip, and it was a wonderful upgrade. A personal highlight was the private balcony—it provided the perfect backdrop for quiet early mornings and was the ideal setting for the decadent evening cheese and wine service. While the entire stay was flawless, two things truly set The Dudley apart: The Breakfast: Their reputation for a sumptuous breakfast is well-deserved. Every bite was a highlight of the morning. This was our motivation to get out of bed! The New Wellness Facility: This is a game-changer. The authentic traditional stone heat cedar sauna and the Hydromassage Magnesium-rich water spa are incredible. Pro tip: Book the spa after sunset to soak under the stars. Since these areas are reserved exclusively for hotel guests, the privacy really adds to that sense of a peaceful getaway. Such a special spot in Hepburn Springs!

Me and my wife stayed at this location overnight. The service was excellent and the room was fantastic. The room had all the modern amenities tv with all the internet connections and apps. The room was spacious with a lovely shower. The hotel is nice and quiet with some nice relaxing areas to sit and enjoy a coffee inside. If you're staying in Daylesford or hepburn for a getaway i would recommend this location. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

What a restorative stay at the Dudley. Everything here is so intentional and thoughtful. Beautiful bed linens, delicious breakfast with a view over the tranquil gardens, a warm library with comfy armchairs that invite you to linger and of course the most charming and gracious hosts. I’m so glad we went with the magnesium spa soak. Had the best sleep in a long long time and almost missed breakfast!

My husband and I stayed in The Dudley Hotel for 2 nights. We stayed in the tranquil and beautiful Spa Studio. The common area and guest room are soooo clean and well decorated. Adrian and Charles are the best hosts. I feel that I'm very smart to choose the Getaway package which includes breakfast, pre-dinner cheese platters and wines, as well as chauffer service to the restaurant in the evening. We had a wonderful experience. After a whole year's busy life and back and forth lockdowns in Melbourne, we were exhausted before we went to Daylesford. Now we feel pampered and refreshed.
