Meriton Serviced Apartments Campbell Street

The location is excellent, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. The rooms are spacious and bright, complete with a kitchen and laundry facilities. The front desk service is attentive. The only minor drawback is that the shower's waterproofing is only average, but overall, the experience was fantastic.

Our room was broken into while we were out. Despite our requests and the so-called searches by the staff on duty, there were no traces on the security cameras. There was no evidence of theft because nothing was left in the room. We left with both key cards. A third key card was found in the light switch when we returned, with all the lights on. Be wary if you stay at this hotel.

Great rooms! Tidy and spacious, I was able to do laundry in the middle of my trip which was awesome. The service was great too, never had to wait to talk to someone, thank you! Also the location is fantastic, I walked to get delicious food for every meal and could get on public transportation super easily.

We had a very pleasant stay, thanks to Giulia for taking such great care of us! We had a minor issue one night with a pillowcase, but she kindly offered complimentary support. Great customer service! We will definitely comeback. 😊

When us 3 sisters stayed there we couldn't fault them on anything we felt great staying there staff were great it was so handy to everything would definitely stay there again

Our stay at Meriton Suites was very disappointing. The room did not feel properly clean: the shower was not usable without flip-flops, there was mould in the corners, small flies around the bathroom/shower area, and a very unpleasant drainage smell. The room also had maintenance issues, including a broken dryer with missing buttons, an inadequate towel set for two guests, and constant hammering noise. The pool, gym, and spa were all closed, which should have been clearly communicated before arrival or at the time of booking. Check-out was also frustrating. I had a 4 pm flight and asked for a 2 pm check-out, offering to pay extra, but the latest possible was 1 pm, still at extra cost. The internet also stopped at 10 am, so I had to use my phone hotspot for a meeting. After this experience, I will reconsider booking Meriton Suites again and intend to cancel my existing future booking. Not the standard I expected.

Unfortunately the worst stay I’ve had in a hotel in a very long time. We booked 3 nights. When we arrived they told us that the spa, gym and pool are all under renovation and we can’t use them. Would have been great to be informed before we turned up. Next, nothing in the room works. The appliances were completely wrecked. TV wouldn’t connect to internet - when we informed reception they brushed it off with no solution. The dryer didn’t work - when we informed reception they said maintenance would come the next day. They never came. I had washed my laundry and needed it back that night so asked reception to please dry it in another room. They took it but didn’t dry it. Did not bring it back until I called the next day and they brought it back still wet. The aircon didn’t work - this made it unbearable and uncomfortable to sleep or even be in the room as it only blows hot air no matter what setting it’s on. We asked for clean towels on one day and they never brought them. The phone in the room doesn’t work half the time and when I’d try call reception it would not connect so we had to go all the way down or go without. For some reason the only focus on yelling hello at you every single time you walk back and forth past reception instead of focusing on decent customer service. Wouldn’t the best thing to do be to move the guests to a room with working appliances? Honestly I could not wait to get out of here and go home. Awful

Great location. Pricey hotel. They even charge you for ice. Bit of a scandal!

We are group of 4 booking 2 rooms though Expedia as the photos show us amazing pool and spa area that we were all keen to use. once we had booked in and payment was taken we were then told about renovations on pool and spa and gym areas, then we were told we could walk 6 blocks away to another Meriton property to use their pool and spa areas . We told the gentleman on reception that we might as well change our booking to there he advised that we would have to pay extra and we would have to book it ourselves. We understand renovations happen but had they informed us in the emails sent prior we would have had the opportunity to seek alternative accommodation. We are heading on a cruise tomorrow and have booked a different Meriton hotel on our way home, and are now reconsidering our booking choice, if this how Meriton operates. Disappointing.
