We went there for a drink after dinner and it was great. Hizi the host was extremely nice to us, we had a great time :)

A tiny counter bar with a big heart. Pride in Nakano is warm, candid, and gloriously unpretentious—where a first timer is greeted like a familiar face by the second drink. Music swings from nostalgic J-pop to queer anthems, conversation jumps languages, and the bartender keeps the energy light without losing control of the room. Drinks are simple and fair-priced; the point here is community, not couture mixology. Come solo or bring friends—you’ll leave feeling seen, which is the best kind of hospitality.

I hadn't really considered Nakano, but I heard rumors that it was a popular spot for handsome older men, so I decided to check it out. The staff and customers were all very high-quality, and I had a great time. I recommend the weekend if you're looking to meet someone, but weekdays if you want to have a fun conversation.

There are so many good-looking men, handsome older men, and handsome older brothers. It's a feast for the eyes. The staff are also highly skilled! I want to go again.
