A great find for the price. Walkable to the centre of the city (25 mins). Clean room and great hot water shower. Buffet breakfast was included.
Stayed here while visiting Christchurch
We were there to catch up with old friends one of whom had just had surgery at Southern Cross.
Hotel is nice enough, very odd smell in the atrium and stairwell but our room was on the second level and once you got up there the smell was gone, room was OK for what we paid for. The room door doesn't have the automatic close arm on it as most motel/hotel rooms have so each time we opened the door it would slam against the door stop, abit loud and annoying. The lovely lady at reception who checked us in short blonde hair, I didn't ask her name but she was super friendly and warm and gave a smile every time we saw her, can't say the same for other staff but we didn't spend much time around the hotel or restaurant as we were exploring the city during our stay.
