Daegu Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee

The Daegu Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee (대구퀴어문화축제 조직위원회) organizes Daegu's annual Pride festival, held each September since 2009 — the second-oldest queer festival in South Korea after Seoul. A coalition of dozens of member organizations, it produces the parade and festival in downtown Daegu (around 2·28 Memorial Central Park and Dongseongno) along with the associated Daegu Queer Film Festival, persisting through significant conservative opposition each year.
