Xen Pool Access

We recently stayed at this hotel. The rooms are nice, but the renovations are a bit tired, and there's mold in the bathroom... Very important clarification, guys! If you're booking a room here, be sure to get a room away from the first line—on the 3rd, or even better, on the 4th or 5th line. This is crucial for your vacation! They're more expensive, of course. But at least you'll get some sleep. The first time we booked a standard room, arriving from the airport, they put us on the very first line on the left. It was absolutely terrible! What a rip-off. We didn't sleep for two nights after a long flight! The hum of cars, bikes, horns, noise—it was like sleeping right on the road. The walls and doors were so thin, it was literally impossible to sleep. We were so exhausted the first night after the flight that we practically collapsed and somehow managed to sleep through all that noise, but the second night we simply couldn't sleep at all. (We asked to be moved, and a young man did, all the way to the 4th line, and we finally got some sleep! Thanks to him 🙏) As for the service, the rest of the service is terrible! The staff is uncommunicative. They don't respond to requests. They don't understand other people's situations. I missed breakfast due to illness, I physically couldn't come, I spent the whole day lying in my room, and they all smiled and refused to give me breakfast the next day... Anywhere else they'd say, "Sure, get well soon, we'll feed you if you didn't use your voucher yesterday." But here, everyone smiles at you but doesn't want to help. What's so hard about that? If someone doesn't use their paid breakfast today and comes back tomorrow, they're "sent" to... Also, when we returned to this hotel the second time, they barely moved us from a room with a non-working air conditioner. They had to force us to get a room with a working air conditioner. It was absolutely terrifying... In the heat, during rush hour, the air conditioner was on at 16 degrees and didn't cool the room... We were practically fainting from the heat, boiled, asking to be moved. They walked back and forth 10 times, trying to adjust it... And then those girls at reception smiled and said, "You've already used your room, we won't move you." They told us it was too hot outside, the air conditioners couldn't cope... and we had just checked out of a hotel where the air conditioner only cooled the room in a minute in the same heat 👍🏼😅 and they moved us with great difficulty. Overall, the reception staff (two girls) are just crap👎 Service and people decide a lot, but in this case, they completely ruined the entire experience of the hotel. I doubt we'll come here again.

Nice rooms. Great pool access direct from your balcony. Note that there is no beach areas within walking distance. Tip: don't order breakfast from the hotel cafe- it is bland, overpriced and accompanied by a deafening assortment of russian pop music. Proceed 10 meters to your left and buy your breakfast in the small authentic cafe at less than half the price and with true Thai cuisine. The picture depicts the Xen Cafe at rush hour. Empty.

a good hotel with a very bad cafe. the room itself is large, well equipped for a relatively low cost, excluding the kettle that does not work and the smell of sewage from the shower. a pleasant reception. but that's all until you go for a pre-paid breakfast (250 baht). you will listen to Russian music that is so loud that it is impossible to talk. when asked to make it at least a little quieter, the answer is yes, but no action. we waited 45 minutes for the last breakfast, we got rice porridge with pieces of ginger. in the evening the cafe is empty, although the neighboring ones are filled with tourists. I recommend the hotel, but without a cafe (categorically). the location is so-so, you need to take a taxi or rent a car to get to all the beaches. since this year the Thai police (because of constantly drunk Russians who refuse to pay for the repair of broken bikes), there have been problems with renting bikes (international rights are required for this category).

A good hotel for the price. Cleaning upon request. Everything is clean and new. The pool is open 24 hours, which is nice. There's a 7/11 nearby. It's located near a roundabout, so there's a traffic jam every evening. It's easy to get around by bike; cars are parked.

Beautiful rooms, with all the comforts you need, very clean and tidy! The only flaw with this hotel is the staff: the reception staff speak little or no English, are rude, and make nonsensical demands! A friend traveling with me, whose reservation they couldn't find, was specifically told: "Leave the lobby and go to the bar, because you can't stay here."
