The menu offered limited choices. When we were there, the only options were duck or fish, and there were no options at all for the appetizers. The menu featured many courses and an amuse-bouche. It looked impressive, but nothing was actually delicious. The combinations were extravagant (e.g., chocolate with vegetables), but the flavors were rather conventional. The food tended to be oversalted. The many positive reviews seem exaggerated.

Loyal patrons since the beginning. Lovers of fine food, we frequent restaurants in Lyon and beyond, visiting at least three a week. But for nothing in the world would we, along with a small group of friends, miss the new monthly menu at Le Regain. Chef Benjamin and his team know how to reinvent themselves by drawing inspiration from international cuisine, bringing just the right touch of whimsy and inventiveness to French cooking, with perfect mastery of cooking times and measurements. The wines are equally impressive, with a list that gives pride of place to organic wines, always on the lookout for new talent. The service, led by Thomas, a smiling and dedicated host, is efficient while remaining friendly and unpretentious. Surely the best value for money among bistronomic restaurants, by far.

A very pleasant meal, fine cuisine. However, the vegetarian option consisted only of the side dishes. While they were very well prepared, the portions were slightly small and the meal wasn't balanced (no protein such as soy or lentils). I recommend it, but it's not suitable for vegetarians.

Deserves to be recognized as a gastronomic gem! Delicious cuisine, fantastic staff who passionately explain the dishes. Exquisite dishes, delighted taste buds. A must-try!
