📸 Suggest PhotosMöbel Olfe — the name means "old furniture" — has been one of Kreuzberg's most important queer meeting points since it opened in the old Dresdener Straße furniture shop. The interior retains the bones of the original commercial space: high ceilings, large windows, and none of the dark-club aesthetics that characterise most of the Berlin scene. On Thursday and Saturday evenings, the bar is gay; the rest of the week it is mixed. The Thursday and Saturday gay nights are not themed events — there is no door charge, no DJ, no spectacle. Just cheap beer in a queer space in one of Berlin's most interesting neighbourhoods, on the corner where Kreuzberg meets Neukölln, next to the elevated U-Bahn. The crowd is local, diverse, politically aware in the way that Kreuzberg tends to be, and conspicuously free of the body fascism that can characterise some more central gay bars. The corner location gives it the largest terrace in the area — a genuine outdoor space that operates as an informal queer town square on warm evenings. Möbel Olfe represents the best of what Berlin's queer scene can be: entirely unpretentious, community-focused, and operating at a scale that allows actual conversations.

crowded just as a bar should be! loved the vibe, fun and entertaining. A place to be during the week when you’re looking for something to do.
Good bar if you are a gay man. Bartender is nice with you as long as you are friendly, and that’s just how things work. Atmosfere is hipster and I like it.
Very discriminative bouncer. He said to me and my trans friend: "I cannot let you in and I cannot tell you why." Having a rainbow flag and do such sad things. As a gay man I don't feel safe at all.
We visited during ladies night and had a great time. It gets busy inside so people spill out onto the walkway in the back and sit on the curb. We eventually were able to grab seating on the tables outside in the front of the bar, but when they were closing the doors it was standing room only inside. Not that I minded - everyone was very friendly. We would definitely go back again when we’re in Berlin. Note that indoor smoking is permitted.
Good atmosphere and great, friendly staff. Place where you can be yourself. The music was varied. I have to say it was not very easy to socialize as most people are self oriented of mainly focused on the person they are with. Maybe on other days it will be different. We were there on a Friday.
