Grand Hyatt Berlin

Don't be fooled by the exterior. The hotel looks really shabby from the outside. But the rooms are okay and clean. That's the main thing. Breakfast in the room – everything was great.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Grand Hyatt Berlin and gladly award it 5 stars. The hotel is modern, stylish, and furnished to a high standard. We would particularly like to highlight our room, number 625, which was lovely and left nothing to be desired. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and contributed to a restful stay. All the staff were friendly, professional, and courteous throughout our stay. A special request for an extra mattress topper was promptly fulfilled after a brief phone call – a service we greatly appreciated. We were less impressed with lunch at the bistro. I had a burger, and my wife had a Caesar salad. Unfortunately, we found both dishes rather average and not quite up to the standard we would have expected from a hotel of this category. The service also seemed a bit slow that day. On our departure day, June 13th, the underground parking garage was unexpectedly closed, so our car was brought to us by valet parking. I gladly gave the attendant a €10 tip for this service. I would have expected, therefore, that a 5-star hotel would offer active assistance with loading larger suitcases. In many top-class establishments, this is a standard part of the service. It may seem like a small detail, but it's often precisely these little things that make the difference between very good service and true excellence. In our case, we had to load the suitcases into the vehicle ourselves, which I found somewhat disappointing. Nevertheless, the positive impressions clearly outweigh the negative. The excellent location, the beautiful rooms, the high level of comfort, and the friendliness of the staff make the Grand Hyatt Berlin an outstanding choice in Berlin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Very friendly staff, compliments for the room service..

Luxury 5-star hotel in a prime location in Berlin. Close to the Sony Center and near many attractions. The hotel is modern and excellently maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped. The hotel also features a beautiful swimming pool. Parking is available in the underground garage beneath the hotel. We did not book breakfast; we had it at the coffee bar by the hotel. It was fantastic! Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and the value for money is excellent. This hotel is highly recommended.

Grand Hyatt Berlin offers excellent accessibility due to its proximity to Potsdamer Platz. It is located within walking distance of major attractions such as Tiergarten, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Holocaust Memorial. If you are driving to Grand Hyatt Berlin, you will have to navigate through a very complex network of roads. There is a parking attendant at the entrance to assist with parking. However, if you choose the parking lot contracted with the hotel from the start, you can easily access it from Potsdamer Straße. The parking lot is located at Tierfgarage Potsdamer Platz-Ludwig-Beck-Straße, 10785 Berlin. There is an elevator on the first floor of the underground parking lot that goes directly up to the hotel.
