Top Add-On for Your Campus Trip! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a colleague who regularly travels to the region for business, I can absolutely recommend the Waldhotel Lottental – especially for anyone working at the University of Bochum (RUB). Here are the highlights from my last stay: The Location: Incredibly close to the university. You're on campus in just a few minutes, yet you're surrounded by greenery. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day of conferences or tedious meetings. The Rooms: Top-notch! Clean and functionally furnished. The beds, in particular, offer exactly the comfort you need after a stressful business day. The Wi-Fi is reliable – working from home or remotely from your room is no problem at all. Minor drawbacks: The mini-LCD TV and the decor could be more themed. The Fitness Center: A real highlight and definitely a "special" feature. No token corner with a wobbly treadmill, but a truly well-equipped space. Here you can really work up a sweat after work. Pool & Sauna: The perfect balance. The pool is ideal for a few laps in the morning, and the relaxing sauna atmosphere in the evening ensures you instantly forget the stresses of everyday life. Conclusion: The perfect blend of business accommodation and a haven of relaxation. A tip for colleagues: Book your room here if you're at Ruhr University Bochum (RUB). The combination of its proximity to the university and the fantastic wellness/fitness area far surpasses typical city hotels!

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the hotel is not air-conditioned, which made my night very difficult and I could hardly sleep at all because it was so hot.

The staff were very friendly, the pool was great and pleasantly cold. We did get a fan for the room, as the hotel didn't have air conditioning. I contacted the hotel directly as a student, but next time I'll book through Booking.com, as another student paid over €100 less than me.

Simple but nicely spacious, and most importantly, a good bed. Service was okay, breakfast simple but also okay, only the coffee wasn't to my liking; it was made in the morning and served in a pot at the table.

A lovely, quiet hotel in a green setting. Breakfast didn't include fresh rolls, but they did have good rye bread. If a crowing rooster bothers you, choose a room on the east side. There's a large parking lot. All in all, very stress-free.

I'm here for three nights, but unfortunately, the room doesn't have air conditioning in this heat. The pool is lovely and very clean. The room is also beautifully decorated and clean. In conclusion, I would book again if I'm back in the Ruhr area on business. Next time, I'll bring a fan with me 😉😉

The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's surrounded by greenery and forest, yet still very well connected to local public transport and the motorway. I greatly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service at reception. The fitness room and pool are also highly recommended. You can work out or swim there from 6:00 am. Very good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hey, thank you so much for my stay at your hotel. I found it a few months ago and booked a room with you. So I'd completely forgotten about everything you have to offer. A sauna and pool were included in the price. Breakfast is available for an additional €14. There was a great selection and it was delicious. The hotel is also very well connected. You can quickly get to the city center by bus and subway. Keep up the good work! 😄
