Very friendly welcome, room was great. The restaurant is good. I really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. I'll definitely come back whenever I'm here for work. 😀👍 The free Wi-Fi is also great, although it could be improved. I do have one small complaint, but it doesn't warrant deducting any stars. You can only pay in cash or with a debit card in the restaurant; VISA isn't accepted, but that's okay. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

A very quiet hotel and restaurant with a lovely terrace. The food and service were excellent. We were very satisfied. Afterwards, a visit to the wildlife park is highly recommended.

We stayed at the manor house for a few days as part of a group event. We also booked the seminar room, which is well-equipped (including technology and everything else you need for seminars). The sun shines into the seminar room in the afternoon, and the view of the surrounding greenery is lovely. The entire organization was seamless and always very friendly; questions were answered patiently. The hotel is in a quiet location; you can sleep with the window open at night and hear absolutely nothing. The rooms were clean, but not all rooms are identical. If you have specific requirements, I recommend checking beforehand. The service is absolutely top-notch; no request goes unanswered, there's always someone available to help, and all the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. While our seminar occupied half the hotel, there was also an event over the weekend, so the staff was very busy. Nevertheless, they catered to all our needs and, as always, maintained a very, very friendly approach to the guests. The food in the restaurant is also highly recommended; they offer daily specials as well as a regular menu. Even though the food can be described as hearty and traditional, there are always vegetarian options available, which are just as delicious as the other dishes. The portions are also generous; a petite person might find it difficult to finish them all. I also remember the breakfast buffet as being excellent; everything you could want is there (very good bread, rolls, egg dishes, cold cuts and spreads, yogurt, fresh fruit and cut vegetables, coffee, and tea). The manor house itself is a beautiful, well-preserved building. Spending time in the garden puts you right in the middle of nature – there are paths of varying lengths for walks within easy walking distance, and the wildcat village and barn are worth a visit. Eisenach and the Hainich National Park are both less than 20 minutes away. The location is absolutely perfect for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. I would like to thank Mr. Spieth and all the staff for the excellent organization and all the hard work behind the scenes, which allowed us to focus on what was important. I wish you all the best and look forward to visiting Hainich again next time!

We couldn't test the rooms as we spent the night in our caravan in the parking lot. Great offer!

So far I've only had the chance to visit the restaurant, not the hotel. However, I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

Not suitable for a hotel that caters to people who work nights, mostly old people make noise

A very nice hotel with charm and history. We stayed there for a family celebration, including an overnight stay, and we enjoyed it very much. The reception was friendly and straightforward, and the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. I can highly recommend it. Of course, the historic rooms can't be compared to a new hotel, but that's precisely where the charm comes from.
