Vörös Neon

Vörös Neon is a cabaret bar at Dob utca 1 in District VII. The Kultúrbrigád team opened it in November 2025 to bring back early-1900s Budapest cabaret, according to WeLoveBudapest. It isn't a gay bar, but drag is a big part of the programme. The Saturday cabaret has a drag MC, the Drag Queen Hungary late shows run on Friday and Saturday nights, and drag bingo matinées appear on some weekends. The venue calls itself LGBTQ+-friendly, and the shows are ticketed on its website. Expect much of the banter in Hungarian, though the late drag show is aimed at visitors too. Google rates it 4.5 from about 400 reviews.
