I wasn't accommodated, just in the adjacent amusement park, but at first glance the accommodation must be amazing.

Overall, we had a great time, it's a really nice place, beautifully maintained park, spacious log cabins, satisfying all needs. The Londoners were very nice, we experienced this and that with the other staff. On the second day we could play ball with the kids at the outdoor pool, on the third day the SPA staff member didn't allow it. The pool was full of kids, they would have played too, but everyone was yelling at them for everything. The kids don't have any options at the pool, only a 10-minute drift every hour, not a slide, not a game, they were bored. It was also annoying that at first they asked us every 20 minutes if we wanted something to drink, on the second day they didn't come once. The drinks, minibar were overpriced, it's ridiculous that for a ca. Springels with 10 chips cost 2500 HUF. You even have to pay for water with the half-board dinner, which is quite a lot, the underground garage is an extra charge, and the go-kart experience is also an extra charge. When we arrived, the bed was full of ants, they sent cleaning staff again, and finally gave us another house, but this can still happen in a forest environment. However, on the last day I had an upset stomach, I didn't eat anywhere else, so we left with a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. For us, this was a trip we won in a raffle, so it didn't cost much, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it in terms of price-performance ratio.

Our Experience at Avalon Resort & Spa: Pros The location is simply beautiful—perfectly integrated into nature, with impressive architecture and a quiet, refined atmosphere. The resort is easy to reach, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. Since we chose a forest-design room, we were transported along with our luggage by golf cart to our building, which is located on the other side of the resort. This area is nestled close to the forest and features a private heated pool, a private spa, and a bar. The rooms are well-equipped and comfortable, with everything you need, including good complimentary Wi-Fi. There are two restaurants within the resort, and we tried both. The food was good, with reasonable prices for this level of accommodation. Breakfast was a particularly pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. There are plenty of activities and attractions within the resort, especially suitable for families with children. It is also a pet-friendly location, which is a big plus. Cons First, the pillows: we have never experienced such poor-quality pillows in a five-star resort. After the first night, we asked reception for a replacement. The staff member was very kind and offered us a catalog with different options. However, the pillows we received were very similar—cheap-feeling, small, and too firm, making them uncomfortable to sleep on. Second, the couple’s massage: we booked a 90-minute session, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing massages we’ve ever experienced. It felt as though it was performed by someone with little to no experience. Additionally, no one at the spa reception informed us that the “90-minute couple’s massage” actually includes only 50 minutes of massage and 40 minutes of time spent in a jacuzzi. This is not clearly explained on the website, and it creates misleading expectations. You arrive expecting a full 90-minute professional massage but receive a much shorter and lower-quality experience. Personal Recommendations Location already have excellent coffee setups with La Marzocco machines and grinders. It would be a great and easy upgrade to add a second single-dose grinder along with specialty single-origin coffees for guests who appreciate freshly roasted beans. Overall Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience, and we would definitely like to return.

The dream location, in the middle of nature. The water in the heated pools, and the room and the pool at the Forest rooms are truly extraordinary. Friendly staff and attentive to the needs of the guests. The food is extremely diverse and delicious. The children's area is amazing. I intentionally mention the Carting area which was the main attraction for my family. In a word EXCEPTIONAL everything, congratulations! We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.
