The hotel is located in a pleasant area and offers convenient parking, making it an easy and comfortable place to stay. The bed was particularly comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The bathroom lacked shelf and counter space for toiletries, which was a minor inconvenience. However, I appreciated that it featured a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub, which felt more practical and convenient. Breakfast was perfectly good, with a satisfactory selection of items to start the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my stay, which made a very positive impression. A nice bonus was the scenic riverside walking path nearby, offering a pleasant opportunity for a stroll. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent service and a relaxing setting.
Me and my family of 4 stayed 4 nights here at the Castle Oaks Hotel. 2 nights in the cottages and 2 nights in the main hotel. Both rooms were so clean and comfortable. Overall it was an AMAZING experience, and will hopefully be back. The outside grounds were gorgeous and so pleasant to walk around. The staff was also so welcoming, especially Josephine and Maggie who made our stay so much more enjoyable. You can definitely see a difference without them, and they are both so good at their jobs. In all, staying here would be highly recommended.
staff are the real shine to this hotel. They are so friendly and welcoming. Makes it a homely welcome feel rather than just arriving at a corporate hotel. would recommend. very clean and the service amazing. Shout out to Josephine in the bar who made everyone feel seen and welcome.
