We had a delicious meal under the olive tree. We hadn't made a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed and a spot was made available for us. The little square filled up in no time. Very good service and the separate gluten-free menu was fantastic. With celiac disease, I was able to eat here worry-free. Highly recommended!

A lovely restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​the historic center, near Columbus's house. I was very impressed by the preparation and description of the dishes. The portions were good. The price was reasonable. About €45 per person.

Trattoria. A Coae De Zena.. The desire for Genoa.. In the heart of Genoa is this trattoria that serves traditional Genoese cuisine and here the pasta is fresh and homemade by the owners... so you eat authentic. We are at Salita di Coccagna 10... and here many people come for lunch or dinner because this is one of those typical places where you can still eat authentic Genoese cuisine... in this place in the historic center of the city where friendliness and hospitality are at home. Here you can eat both inside this very characteristic restaurant with a beautiful stone room... with arches... or in the small square outside the restaurant. What else can I tell you if you don't know it yet... look for it and come and try it.

Unfortunately, 5 stars is the maximum, because this place deserves many more. Delicious food, a beautiful atmosphere in a typical Genoese courtyard, and incredibly kind and helpful staff. We ate divinely, including gluten-free options (all options are clearly marked, and everyone is very attentive in their preparation). We had a brandacujun appetizer, anchovy soup and buridda for main courses, and prescinseua mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious and incredibly fresh. Absolutely not to be missed if you're passing through Genoa!
