Twierdza Krakow

Twierdza - the name means fortress - is Krakow's dedicated cruise and fetish club, holding down the men-only end of the city's scene from a cellar on Rynek Debnicki, across the river from the Wawel. It is a members-style venue in spirit: dark, functional and entirely unapologetic about what it is for. The club runs Friday and Saturday nights from 22:00 straight through to 08:00, with a rotating calendar of themed events - fetish nights, naked and underwear parties and harder-edged sessions - announced in advance on Poland's LGBTQ+ listings. Facilities follow the classic cruising-club formula: darkrooms, play areas and a bar to regroup at between rounds. The dress-code nights are enforced, so check what the theme is before you turn up in street clothes. The crowd is local and serious about the scene, with visitors welcome. Together with Ciemnia and Blue XL it completes a surprisingly well-equipped cruising triangle for a city with no official gay district - Twierdza is the one to pick for a full-length, all-night session.
