He left the house a complete mess, filthy, without towels or sheets. He burned sheets and clothes on the barbecue and left them there. I absolutely do not recommend this person who destroys everything and takes no responsibility for anything. He has been reported to the Civil Guard for defrauding us.

James is a absolutely fantastic host !! He really can’t do enough. Stunning place to stay I’ve been a few times now . I can’t recommend this place enough. Played some lovely golf courses last time I was here all close by . I love the concept he has of connecting like minded people who are In various stages of recovery. Looking forward to coming back !!

First of all, I have to aknowledge the flexibility and attention of James, the owner, who reacted very fast and efficently to a booking mistake from my side. On a property basis, the place is unique, wonderful views from the terrace with the Mount tide on the back and the sea views. having breakfast there is just a dream. James makes your stay very easy and comfortable providing everything you need and making you feel at home. A perfect location if what you are looking for is a number of relaxed days far from the crowded and messy south of the island

We had rented the entire house to spend a week there in December/January. Family group of 7 adults. What a surprise when we arrived at 9 p.m. to find the owner cleaning! He left leaving the dishwasher full, the kitchen uncleaned, the terrace uncleaned and with a huge mess... dirty towel in a bathroom, dirty sink, refrigerator full of the owner's leftovers and above all no common space to eat our meals at 7!!! We had dinner every evening on the living room table. As for the terrace, it is unusable when it rains and the rest of the time personal, dirty or broken belongings are lying around everywhere. Obviously the house had been taken care of and was not ready for rental. These are certainly guest rooms where everyone has a bedroom with the terrace space. The fabric sofa in the living room smelled bad, we were forced to add a blanket. In conclusion, Casa Silvia should not be rented independently for 7 people and deserves a very (very) big maintenance effort to accommodate guests.

It's a private house, but you have a whole room; with towels, a bathroom, and a TV. James is very nice, although we had some communication problems since we don't speak English, but with the translator we managed to understand each other. The views from the terrace are very good, including Mount Teide.

Second time here, stayed for 10 Days..best decision I made in a long Time.. I'll be back :)

A very well-located guesthouse with very kind and friendly hosts. Beautiful sea view from the breakfast terrace. Very clean room.

I have stayed here now 3 times, such a beautiful and peaceful location. Rooms are spacious enough and the shared facilities are very well appointed. Roof terrace is an amazing place to either sit and look out over the ocean or up at the incredible Mount Tiede. Breakfast is served by Gareth and is everything you could need. You can also get dinner for a remarkably small charge considering the quality of the food. Gareth is a fantastic chef. James, the owner of the Casa, hosts the visit and is very friendly and accommodating. 2 lovely dogs, Angus and Nik, both incredibly placid also enhance the relaxed atmosphere of this little gem. If you want to escape the world this is a perfect place to visit
