I love this place. Not frilly, but big, comfortable beds, generally quiet, a pool and sun lounge, a breakfast that’s excellent and well-rounded, strong wi-fi, conveniently located, and staff that go out of their way to ensure that your stay goes smoothly. Great value for the money.

The best part is the breakfast and the location is excellent. The staff is very friendly throughout.

Lovely helpful genuine staff at front of house, catering and domestic, large balcony and large rooms cleaned every day, Great service, even offered packed lunch as needed to go to airport early. Location literally less than 10 minutes to the beach.

A classic example of don’t judge a book by its cover. It may be 3 stars but this hotel operates like it’s 4-5. The upgrades this hotel action are about substance, not selling a dream they can’t deliver on. The bathroom is perfection. The safes are new. The room is spacious and the bed is enormous. The staff are second to none- so friendly and helpful. We cannot fault it and we can be fussy!

I stay at the Galeon twice a year. I'd give it 5 stars for the location, the staff, and the breakfast, which are all top-notch! However, I stayed in the annex, the Pavillion. Room 805. A NIGHTMARE. The elevator across the street slammed every time it went in and out, day and night.... The stairs to the rooftop jacuzzi are right next to the room, with the sound of doors banging and guests passing by on the stairs. Furthermore, the jacuzzi is directly above the room... with the noise of the pumps day and night, depending on the cycle, and you can hear every single person using it. It was impossible for me to take a nap in the afternoons, and at night I had to sleep with earplugs. Finally, there were no power outlets near the bed. They lent me an extension cord, but it ran across my room the entire time. Great camping for a superior double room. Finally, the bathroom needs updating compared to the facilities in the main building. I'll be back, but not to the annex. Thanks to the whole team. Stephan

Tranquility, good service, cleanliness and great attention.

Excellent service, all the staff were exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was incredible. I recommend it 100%. Thank you for making everything so easy for us. We'll definitely be back.

I enjoyed my stay; I slept well, it has a desk, it was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly. My room had a large terrace.
