Hotel Rural Mirador del Vadillo

A neighborhood in Pedraza. Very pretty. With a lovely and easy route along the river, with stairs and walkways—great fun. It's called the Fishermen's Trail. It starts in the village itself and ends in another called Pajares, with the most unusual bar I've ever seen... called Telarañas (Cobwebs). Don't let the name put you off; it's very clean! Back at the Hotel Mirador, the room was very nice and modern, yet retained the rural charm of a Castilian village. The breakfast is spectacular; they have everything you could want, including healthy options if you prefer. The owners are very friendly and provide information on everything you can visit. If you enjoy wildlife, you'll see roe deer and vultures everywhere. There are vulture colonies very close to the village. The advantage is that Pedraza is only two kilometers away. The hotel has a restaurant across the street, but we didn't get a chance to try it because it was closed the night we arrived, and the next day we had a sandwich in the countryside. That evening, we went to Pedraza for dinner. It's a place worth returning to.

The breakfast buffet is varied, with options for all tastes and high-quality products. It's the perfect fuel for exploring the area. The location is, without a doubt, a treasure. The hotel is nestled between the Cega River and the Vadillo Stream, creating an atmosphere of absolute peace. It's the ideal starting point for hiking, with beautiful trails that allow you to completely disconnect amidst the sound of the water and the lush green landscape. Besides the hotel's tranquility, you're just a stone's throw from must-see tourist destinations like Pedraza, Sepúlveda, the Hoces del Duratón gorge and the San Frutos hermitage, or Cuéllar. Very friendly and personal service. Beautifully decorated room. Quiet and discreet. Dinner available (if you arrive on time). Full buffet breakfast with something for everyone. Everything very clean.

I've stayed twice and I'll definitely be back. Lovely country hotel, clean and cozy room, and a fantastic restaurant. Special mention to Viki and Salva, who were absolutely wonderful, kind, helpful, and welcoming. My wife and I were very comfortable.

A very welcoming and peaceful place to stay, the hosts are very friendly and hospitable, I would definitely return. The rooms are spacious and very clean, everything is very well maintained, the breakfast is fantastic with a great variety, there are good hiking trails nearby, and it's well located. Overall, it's perfect and highly recommended.
