על המקום הזה Librería La Rossa
Librería La Rossa is a small feminist bookshop on Carrer de la Murta in central Valencia. The shelves concentrate on women writers, feminist theory and LGBTQ+ literature, with a children's section and gifts. Staff give recommendations, and the shop hosts readings, presentations and talks.
Its 4.8 Google rating from nearly 300 reviews reflects a loyal following. Most stock is in Spanish and Valencian, though there is usually some English. Opening hours are not listed here; independent shops in Spain often close in the early afternoon, so check before you go. It is a good place to pick up flyers for queer and feminist events in the city.

A wonderful place to get lost in peace and meet genuine people. It's a pleasure to talk about books, ask questions, and have them know everything about each one. The staff is delightful; it's impossible not to stop by.

It's been my favorite and trusted bookstore for over 5 years, since I started living in the neighborhood. Diana even knows what books I've read! 🩵
