Really cute hotel, reasonable price

Fantastic hotel in Sodermalm across from Parc.

Didn't stay over so don't know much about the rooms...

Clean, good breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable bed, convenient location.

My wife and I stayed here for the last 4 days of our 6 week European holiday. We wanted somewhere quietly located with a bit of luxury to wind down from our trip. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by very welcoming staff who helped us out with local attractions and recommendations. I had emailed the staff in advance as it was our 7th Wedding Anniversary and to my surprise they gave us chilled wine in our room on arrival which was a beautiful touch. We were upgraded to the Deluxe Balcony room which I HIGHLY rate and would suggest you do this yourself. It was well priced for what you get. Spacious room with lots of hanging space, lovely little balcony overlooking the garden/park. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in during this holiday of about 10 other similar hotels and the bathroom was spacious with a bath and large shower area. Breakfast was buffet AND al acarte food which was so good. The fresh croissants and Swedish French toast got me started each day. This is exactly what we needed to wind down at the end of our trip and I can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Swedish people really are amazing. Thank you - from Australia.

Fantastic hotel in a great location Would stay there again

We had an amazing time at the Hotel Rival. Great location we always had fun walking the neighborhood and had easy access to all of Stockholm. The service at Rival was impeccable, friendly and helpful at all times. The room itself was immaculately kept, amenities a plenty. Very spacious, could stretch out and unpack things well and the bathtub was a rare sight. Also the evening turndown service was a treat with sparkling water delivered every evening.

A wonderful hotel with its own history and atmosphere, very colorful. Very good breakfasts, a large selection of both appetizers and hot dishes, and you can also order from the menu. Comfortable rooms with large beds. Amazing location 10/10

Great hotel. Very nice, quiet room with a balcony. The bathroom is quite small. Small coffee bar on the fourth floor. Exceptionally friendly welcome. Restaurant and bar in the hotel. Spectacular breakfast!!

This is a fabulous hotel. The location is great, many delicious restaurants nearby, the room wonderful, the bed and pillows so comfortable, the coffee on the 4th floor an amazing addition, and a great breakfast. They even made us a to-go snack on our last morning, since we had to leave for the airport hours before breakfast started! Add to that a terrific, helpful, happy staff. Joel, Cecelia, Eric (we think) and all the others we interacted with. We travel extensively (72 countries and counting) and this is one of our favorite hotels

Really smart hotel, very conveniently placed for the old centre of town and harbour, yet not right in the trashy tourist area. Positioned on a quiet street right opposite a lovely square, so very peaceful for a city centre hotel. Modern rooms with plenty of space and very friendly staff too. We are really glad we chose the Rival as our base for a city break to Stockholm.

Great stay. Perfect location. Attentive staff. Clean room with excellent water pressure for the shower. Great breakfast that was included.
