Great restaurant to try authentic swedish cuisine. Food is excellent, portions are generous but what makes a great experience is the outstanding service. Staff is able to handle the high demand with courtesy, humour and professionalism thus making the experience worth the waiting time (no réservation possible).

What a fantastic experience it was to visit this place. Everything from the simple and homely decor to the incredibly tasty food really impressed us. The plates with the stylish Gästabud logo were served with a perfectly creamy mashed potatoes and really tasty side dishes. This is exactly how you want a meal to be when you want to enjoy something genuine and well-prepared. We will definitely be back here again soon.

We had such a lovely dinner at Lilla Gastabud! We were looking for some local Swedish food, with a great ambiance and Lilla delivered the perfect night. The Swedish Spritz was a highlight! As a vegetarian, it can be hard to find Swedish food, but the green pea soup and the garlic bread was delightful. My friend got the Janssons frestelse and she loved it. The staff was attentive and provided incredible service. Perfect spot if you want a less touristy, yet authentic experience of Swedish food!

We spontaneously decided to eat here one afternoon after a day trip to Stockholm. There was absolutely no wait; we were seated right away. The restaurant is rather small but very cozy, the service is very friendly, and the menu is concise yet of very high quality. We had the meatballs, which were absolutely fantastic. A visit is definitely worthwhile.

A great place to try traditional Swedish cuisine. I especially recommend the meatballs and salmon; both are delicious. The service is very friendly, but be warned: the place is quite small, so you might have to wait a while for a table at lunchtime, but it's worth it!
