Tantobastun (community sauna)

Amazing sauna place, with view and swimming in the Baltic Sea! The best part though is the supersuperkind staff! Couldnt be more grateful! Thank you for the experience! ❤️

Update 2025: I am now a member of the Tanto sauna! So if you want to try it out, I'll happily invite you for a sauna session. Just send me a message on Insta, where my nickname is Sweded_Erik Update 2022: A lot of people seem to read this review/show interest in the public spots at TantoBastu. They have recently changed their booking system, going to a Billeto/digital ticket system. They release their tickets (10) three days in advance, the link is provided at their homepage and/or the facebook event page. So if you want to go to the Wednesday 1900 mix sauna, you have to stay alert Sunday evening at 1855 in front of the computer to be ready to book 1 or 2 tickets at the Billeto page. Create an account with billing info earlier than that time though....good luck! Anyway, if you want to try out the new SthlmSauna in Vinterviken, give me a shoutout (@Sweded_erik on Insta) and I'll invite you. ___________ Always such an incredible atmosphere and feeling in the sauna! Come on time, at least 40min before opening for the public sessions, as this sauna is becoming more and more popular. And dress warmly! But oh, it's worth the wait.....by the way, bring two towels, one for the sauna and one for drying yourself afterwards.

❤️

My experience of sauna and dipping in the freezing water was awesome! I went for a public session and everyone was extremely nice. The volunteer from the association was so kind. Sauna house was very cute and well maintained. Love how nicely the wood burning stove smells. Sauna sits right on top of the water so you can get back into the warmth after freezing in the lake 😃 I will absolutely go again if there is a chance!

Amazing place, people and view <3

Amazing experience - highly recommend!

Hidden gem - must do in Stockholm!

Nice swimming. There is a climbing wall.

The best sauna in town, amazing views and the people who are running this are great! what a lovely part of Stockholm to take a dip, (cold or hot!).
