I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Mansur and his brother were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and you can really feel that the hotel is family-run with a lot of care and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — thank you, Mansur and your brother, for such great hospitality! Zehra.

I'm going to base this on facts with very little opinion, trying to be impartial. I rented an apartment WITH A BALCONY on Booking. The owner was very kind, having contacted me via WhatsApp and Booking about my requests for accommodation weeks before arriving. The apartment, in a quote, was "well-located." I'll tell you why. I arrived at the apartment and they DID NOT give me the one I had booked, which had a balcony facing the street. This one didn't have a balcony. I didn't complain because: first, we arrived quite late at night and I didn't check it before the owner left. Then, I thought the balcony might have been enclosed by a window, but then I realized that on the third floor there was an apartment with a balcony identical to the one in the photos of the one I booked through Booking, but I was on the second floor. And finally, that night we had such a bad night because of the noise from the pubs and bars that we decided to ask to change rooms if possible to get a better night's sleep (at this point, I didn't care about the balcony, but rather the solution to the sound problem). The rest of the apartment—bed, kitchen, bathrooms—is all fine, clean, and in order. Even pretty. I think that when you rent a hotel or apartment, the first priority is to rest and sleep well so you can go out and enjoy the city the next day and make the most of the day, especially if you're on vacation to explore a new city, but also if you're coming for work. But in the apartment they gave me, I could hear all the music from all the clubs, pubs, bars, and restaurants (of which there are many), and there's no control over the volume or the time it can end (between 4 and 6 AM). After the music comes the noise of people walking or fighting in the street (a woman and two men were shouting from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. the first night). I also want to point out that both my wife and I had to use earplugs and still couldn't sleep. We woke up exhausted from the bad night we had. It was almost 2 p.m. when we were able to get up and get ready to go out. I filed a complaint the next night to see if there was another accommodation option. This noise issue, you could say, is not the property owner's responsibility (the sound from the street). And to a certain extent, that's true. But what's also true is that the apartments could be soundproofed with good windows with thick glass and rubber seals that seal well all around, thus greatly reducing this effect. But they are not soundproofed. The windows are made of wooden frames, so you can even feel the wind from inside and can see a gap at some edges. This, of course, does nothing to isolate the sound. And if it could be solved by soundproofing the windows. For the 4th night (of the 7 nights agreed upon), they told me I could change rooms. The noise was noticeable there, but at a much lower level. There was only one industrial air compressor, but it turned on in the mornings and its noise was constant, so it was easier to live with. The second apartment had many things in disrepair compared to the first (which was in very good overall condition). I repeat: the owner's service was good. But you don't get a good night's sleep with good service or kindness. You get a good night's sleep if you can sleep, and that's what you're looking for when you rent. A good night's sleep and rest. And that, with the right resources, can be achieved even in noisy areas. In the end, I ended up paying the same amount for an apartment WITHOUT a balcony, without a street view, and with a lot of noise for 4 nights. No discount or price adjustment was made for the difference in apartment quality or the excessive noise. My only apologies for the noise. Conclusions: I paid for an apartment with a balcony and was given one without. I requested a room change on the first night and was given a room change on the fourth. The second apartment was quite run down compared to the first (shower didn't work, sofa was dirty). Sorry, I wouldn't rent there again.

Location is good but other facilities are not up to the mark, water ran out in the toilet while I was in middle it. Very disappointing. I don’t think I would return to this place again. Due to tourist area the noice is too much which makes it difficult for anyone to sleep . The tv remote had no cells. There wasn’t extra blanket. The shower handle was broken where I could fix it and peacefully take shower, and I had to hold it while showering

Elevator access is from the first floor not from the ground floor, so you have to face problems for carrying the luggage at the time of check in and check out and also not suitable for old age knee problem travelers. We stayed for 06 nights. No housekeeping from Mr. Mansoor Manager/Owner, not once he asked us if we needed something . We had booked a One bedroom Apartment with two bathrooms but only one bathroom is operational and the other is closed and out of order. Mr.Mansoor assured us to resolve the issue but he did not do it. As for location nothing to see outside except for a lot of drunk people at the Pub with loud music after midnight to morning which is beyond anyones control.Taxi is available but only on the main street as the hotel is in a no-car allowed street. We had to carry our bags to the main street which is fine for solo travellers but not for a family who have 3-4 bags. Apartment is comfortable and very near to Istiklal street and Taksim Metro station and in a very lively area. So many restaurants and shops are available at walking distance.
