The Rose & Crown, London Bridge (PUBLOVE)

ㄧㄡˇㄉㄨㄛˉㄩㄢˇㄐㄧㄡˋㄌㄧˊㄓㄜˋㄌㄧˇㄉㄨㄛˉㄩㄢˇ☺️ The bunk is so narrow that you can‘t even sit up straight. Yes, you get what you paid for. But I didn’t pay so less to spend my time sleeping in sauna. It was heatwave in London and the room was air-tight for 30 degrees. The room itself as well as toilet and bathroom were super moldy. It took a 7 mins walk to tube station so it‘s not as convenient as you thought. Overall, run away:))

Right next to Borough Market and this area with lots of food places which has an arcade bar (Four Quarters), and awesome pancakes (Where the Pancakes are). Room and facilities - The bed is clean! But no curtains so I hung my towel for some privacy. Bathrooms and toilets are meh - no poop or pee smell but just old sewage smell. And just signs of age. Also, worth bringing a mini fan during summer! Other people - when I stayed there, guests were young ~20-35, and everyone was so respectful and quiet. I felt very safe. Staff - very very friendly and helpful. 24 hour service so you feel safe and not restricted. I would stay again to be honest - can't beat the price and location!

We had to check out early and stay for one night only. Like most reviews here, we found the room conditions unliveable and unsafe. Black mold can be seen from the ceiling and walls. There was an unpleasant smell every room. The bathroom was not cleaned from May 15th afternoon until May 16th. Mold was also present in the bathroom. On top of this, the washroom photos were not posted on the website. It seems like only the washroom from the top floor (for private suite) was posted. This did not directly represent the kind of amenities we would be using. I emailed this privately to the hostel and they replied saying no mold is present but it was clearly noticeable even with the dark painted walls. Washroom ceilings also had dark mold but was painted over by new white paint instead of addressing the issues.

There are four chargers by the bed: two USB type and two standard outlets. Considering London's cost of living and location, it's quite good value for money. There are no bath towels, and the limited places to hang towels and coats are inconvenient. The staff member was friendly. I was able to borrow a hairdryer by asking each time. There are four showers, and the shower with a toilet had better water pressure. Shampoo and other toiletries are not provided. It was clean, and I didn't notice any mold. The bunk beds are not high enough to sit up on, so it might be suitable for short stays. I was able to check out at 5 AM.

We have stayed at the double room at Publove property, that was a pleasure stay, friendly staffs, especially shout to Mark!!he is awesome and so helpful during our stay, the room is clean and the private bathroom is so big, there are lots of space inside the room, the location is central of Everything!! 5 minutes walk to the borough station, supermarket, boroughs market, London Bridge and tower bridge, we got the package deal to include daily free breakfast, it was delicious, we enjoyed so much, the room price is so great compared to the rest of the property in this area, we have a great time in London, thanks Publove and all the lovely staff members.
