It was a brilliant stay and food here is brilliant and definitely worth the visit and money

I was very impressed with my room. It was very clean, very warm and very comfortable. I would not hesitate to booking here again. Excellent,,,, all good.

We stayed for 4 nights as we were down from Scotland visiting friends. The bed was comfy and there was a kettle with tea and coffee available. We had a house keeping issue that was swiftly resolved by the owner. If I could make a suggestion to improve the service it would be to have a laminated sheet in the room with the WiFi code on. Also the 2 cups supplied for tea/coffee were not changed at all throughout the stay. In all fairness I could have taken them down the 2 flights of stairs to the bar and asked for them to be changed for clean ones and I'm sure they would have obliged, but I would have expected them to be changed every day along with a wee bit of house keeping. It wasn't really clear what to expect and a laminated sheet explaining the process would have helped.

Booked this pub/hotel as was doing a training course locally cracking little pub great food friendly staff and locals my room was modern clean and well presented I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish I’d certainly recommend it kind regards Wes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderfully welcoming country pub in a beautiful location I was delighted with most aspects of my stay at Pebley, starting with the warm welcome from Olivia, the friendly atmosphere in the bar, the excellent ale and crisp pairing recommendations from Lewis, and the great playlist, the tasteful decor, and comfortable armchairs to sink into at the end of the day. The views from the pub are amazing, and you can hear the birdsong above the traffic on the nearby M1 too! My room (no 7) overlooked the car park and was very peaceful, with two twin beds, a good wall-hung TV, and plenty of storage space (with a fan and an iron), and an en-suite shower room and WC. All very well-presented and nicely put together.

Stayed here for work and it turned out to be a great find. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was excellent. The bar staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the food was brilliant. They also serve a great pint of Guinness! If you’re working in the area or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend 👍

Had lovely stay on route to another destination, bar lady and landlord very pleasant and welcoming. Had couple of good real ales before bed. Excellent

Great stay away over New Years Eve, rooms comfortable and warm, a real country pub that has bags of character and characters. Stayed in room 1 and didn't hear any of the other guests, must call out the boneless chicken and salt and pepper chips, amazing .

Set in a lovely location.The room was clean warm and a decent size with a comfortable bed.Good value for money. Ideal access for the Peak District/Yorkshire etc.
