מועדון TANGO QUEER AT BUENOS AIRES

This listing covers the Tango Queer night held at a club in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, on Tuesdays from around 20:00. Queer tango drops the fixed man-leads, woman-follows rule: anyone can lead or follow, and same-sex couples are the norm rather than the exception. The format is usually a class first, then a milonga where you can dance or just watch. The address and organiser details here are thin, and tango nights in Buenos Aires change venue more often than most. Check the current Tango Queer schedule online before you go. Beginners are generally fine at the class; at the milonga itself, follow the usual cabeceo etiquette and ask with a nod, not a tug.
