Transvest

Transvest is a Belo Horizonte organisation dedicated to education and culture for trans and travesti people, based in the landmark Edificio Maletta in Centro. It offers free courses — pre-ENEM university preparation, languages, adult basic education, theatre and self-defence — aimed at expanding access and opportunity for a population often excluded from formal schooling and work. It is an active community group and a good example of the city's grassroots trans-led initiatives. Contact is best made through its social channels.
